Gutted by that Wilson looks like being out again, presumably for another 6 weeks and requires another operation - was he brought back too soon?

I'd be amazed if it was the case of being brought back too quick, he was out a bit longer than what was originally thought IIRC. Sean Riley seems well respected in his job, another reason I be very surprised if coming back too early was the reason.

Real shame though as he's have been a big, big threat to teams when fit.

With Walker struggling & Pilks looking pretty fragile at times that's a serious dent in attacking options.

Andy Owens loan must be about up at Stockport, would have him back until the end of the season in a heartbeat. Would just slot back into the squad nicely, and with a view to maybe first refusal for next season.

Might be pitching a bit high but experienced Luke Rodgers who has played alongside Thierry Henry for New York Red Bulls has just had his contract cancelled by FGR. a free agent who could do a job on a short-term basis. On the subject of Andy Owens he has been playing full back at Stockport and I get the impression they would like to keep him for the rest of the season.
