Re: Crowther gone
No real shock, struggled to dislodge ARH and Lacey so will be even further down the pecking order with Ledsham arriving

Re: Crowther gone
I hope Edmo gets rid of a couple more.
The mail beat the clubs website and twitter again.

Good stuff.
Hopefully get rid of some other deadwood.
How hard is it for the club to tweet it ? You can do it from anywhere on your phone. Tinpot

Agreed, although if Edmo and PC talk to Shaw more than they do the people running the website, then the website has no chance of getting anything on first. It is completely wrong IMO.boyliegladbach wrote: The mail beat the clubs website and twitter again.
No other club lets its fans find EVERYTHING out from the local rag.

Re: Crowther gone
As above KH, if the people involved tell the rag before they tell the people involved in running the website/twitter feed then how is it supposed to get to on the clubs twitter?KHayman wrote:Good stuff.

Serious rethink of the communication policy required.

Re: Crowther gone
So
Farewell then
‘Leslie’ Crowther
You huffed and puffed
Ineffectually rather
God’s speed
To the valleys
Fulfil your potential
With legs akin
To a Crackerjack pencil
(Crackerjack!)
E. J. Wintergreen, 58½

We will follow the soccer, over land and sea...
Re: Crowther gone
Personally I'm disappointed by this, don't think he really got a fair chance but when he did play he was certainly better than Lacey. Only a few weeks ago he started ahead of others in a massive game at Guiseley, that seems a bizarre decision now in light of this. I know he got sent off with 10 mins to go in that game but overall I thought he did well, hasn't had a look in since then though.

Got to agree, never really had a fair shot at a decent run in the team.Kieran wrote:Personally I'm disappointed by this, don't think he really got a fair chance but when he did play he was certainly better than Lacey. We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Hang on, Edmo get criticized for poor team displays then goes out and recruits to address this and get criticized again. The bloke cant win. As for the revolving door you just cant keep bringing players in without letting players go for obvious reasons.
Its Edmo's call who he brings in and lets go and he will live or die by those decisions in the end.

Re: Crowther gone
Went to Hednesford on loan and played at centre-back where they had a four match unbeaten run including three clean sheets.Edmo knows more than me but I'm surprised he was never considered for a similar role.Incidentally it seems strangely coincidental that he is the third player to return to Colwyn Bay in the last week or so since Sinclair left.Ellison next ?
Re: Crowther gone
Yep, but he's let a lad go who wasn't even playing and therefore can't be blamed for the recent poor form. In my view theres no doubt that there are worse players in the squad than Crowther, and he hasn't had a fair chance.32mile_cul-de-sac wrote:Hang on, Edmo get criticized for poor team displays then goes out and recruits to address this and get criticized again.
