Without a doubt one of the best chants in the 60's was (to the tune of Yankee Doodle)
We are the boys from Holker Street, we play in white and blue
And when we win the Football League we'll sing this song to you
Colin Appleton is our king
Colin Apleton is our king
Colin Appleton is our king
and your a pack of b######s
I remember hearing this when we were in the 3rd Division

Newcastle fans have always been amongst the wittiest -

About their Brazilian striker in the late 80s early 90s;
"His name is Mirandinhia,
He's not from Argentina, he's from Brazil, He's F****ng Brill!"

When a young Louis Saha was on loan on Tyneside (to the tune of Que Sara sara)
Oh Saha, Saha,
His name is Louis, Louis,
He's blacker than you and me!
Oh Saha, Saha!

And one that both Geordies and Spurs fans sang, to the tune of Lola by the Kinks;
"We've got the world's most passionate fans,
We've even got Les Ferdinand and Ginola, Gi Gi Gi Ginola!"

Love a witty chant!
