We're piling the pressure on now. Livesey and Ledsham both go close.

Fantastic game by the sound of it, both teams giving everything.

Fylde just equalised come on Barrow get that third goal
Re: Barrow V Oxford predictions
Great game, and a good point against possibly the best attacking team to visit this season - and we limited them to very few proper chances.
I hope it's the same every weekend in terms of excitement.

Re: Barrow V Oxford predictions
To start off brightly, that's one of the tough games out the way without surrenduring any of our lead at the top. It could be seen how they have managed to score freely throughout the season.
However, I thought we were pretty poor up until the triple substitution, the midfield (especially centrally) were pretty non-existent and any loose balls were picked up by Oxford's midfield two. I'd be tempted to start off how we finished next week but would bring in Sheridan for one of Lacey and Ledsham, and would probably keep Carver on the bench for Cook.
Nevertheless, tough game again next week and we've already seen what they clan do if we don't put in a performance.

Apart from possibly coming for the cross for their second I don't think he did much wrong.prague bluebird wrote:Sounds like Taylor is having a mare

Popular side since '03.

Obviously still a few idiots on Taylor's case. Been decent last month or so now.Matty wrote:To start off brightly, that's one of the tough games out the way without surrenduring any of our lead at the top. It could be seen how they have managed to score freely throughout the season.

Walker, however, isn't doing the business. I'd pick Wilson to start the rest of the season and then we'll see how good he is.

Blessing for us as Lacey does get stuck in, but he gives the ball away far to often .Ste Story wrote:Lacey picked up a yellow card which suspends him now anyway.
Thought we looked a lot more dangerous after the 3 substitutions.
Re: Barrow V Oxford predictions
It was quite a decent game , Oxford kept the ball really well and attacked well in numbers.
Cookie missed a sitter right on half time that would have changed the game. Jason looks completely out of sorts and I would start Wilson instead next game.
I thought Paddy was a gonna , luckily for us the ref was shit

Enjoyable afternoon. Oxford looked a decent side, especially the centre mids and the right back. We showed good character to come back twice.
If only Cooky had buried that chance just before half time...never mind though, on we go.

Re: Barrow V Oxford predictions
although they were quick on the break really disappointed with their goals first one a free header and the second taylor and cowps both at fault,i know cook scored but i think the lad needs a rest he`s led the line all season and i just think him and jase need a rest because we are too predictable when we go forward and we don`t have the movement oxford had!
as previously said the 3 changes were like a breath of fresh air, suddenly there was movement and variation in our play and we had them all over the place last ten minutes.
anyway we are still top fylde are at worcester tuesday (but we shouldn`t have to rely on other teams),onwards and upwards, oh and well done meeks and edmo for being brave with the changes they made
