Away travel is organised by the Bluebirds Trust not Barrow AFC. To put it on at a vastly reduced price would mean the Trust covering the losses. Besides this one is a luxury double decker!

An executive coach to Lowestoft for £30 is a an excellent offer. We were paying £30/35 six seasons ago to those far away places and believe you me the coaches were not executive class.

We will have the title wrapped up with a bow on top on Saturday---Lowestoft will be PARTY TIME.
Aye and what is happening about those hats we ordered?
I can't believe the people on our table in hospitality thought me and Danielle were North Ferriby supporters. ME!!!!!!!!!!!

To be fair though Tamworth to Barrow and Fylde to Harrogate are both much shorter distances than Barrow to Lowestoft, which is twice the distance.

The Trust have always run buses on a non profit basis, but we have to measure or pricing to ensure we at least break even.

And Elaine, the hats are on route!

Tamworth are charging £10 to come to Barrow on Saturday.
Fylde are only charging £5 to take their supporters to Harrogate.

As Elaine says the cost of the coaches to long distance away games is pretty expensive as the ISC were paying over £1000 for a standard coach for a few of the long trips in the Conference Prem a few seasons back.
Fylde-Harrogate & Tamworth-Barrow would only require 1 driver and the latter would take 3 and half hours one way with a stop while Barrow-Lowestoft would take twice that and would need 2 drivers for a full day and being a bigger bus would also need more fuel so £30 is a good price.
As others have said it may have been better to set off a little earlier in case of traffic problems.
Hopefully we'll have plenty at Lowestoft to see us lift the League Trophy

Well as cheapest seat on train will cost me £36 from leafy cheshire to not so leafy Barrow on Saturday, thirty quid on bus to Lowestoft next week sounds an absolute bargain

What a pity you are coming by train. If you were driving you could have entered Barrow in Bloom via Abbey Rd, reputedly the longest tree lined street in the country, and enjoyed the beautiful display of daffodils from the length of the road from the top of Mill Brow. That will beat your leafy Cheshire.
