Red card will be the excuse but we were awful with 11 men strangely played a little better with 10.

Newby looked good when he came on VDB didn't do anything wrong today bar not scoring.

Midfield was shite cowps and mellor offered nothing. Whilst on the subject of Mellor hes slow, looks over weight and didn't look interested all game.

The whole team looked not arsed for most of game.

Why did i go i knew this was coming Fylde still look a decent side controlled the game easily.

Still undecided on Edmo but he doesn't seem to have a long term plan and we play boring negative football.

Goodwin infered at the time that surely Edmondson must have noticed it.
Doesn't sound like he did though, does it.
Our midfield has been woefully below par for two seasons and he's yet to notice it or try to do anything about it so... I just don't see why he can't grasp it. Week in week out we see the opposition players running absolute rings round our midfield or just strolling through at ease. The thing is, our back 5 is actually pretty good. Didn't see the goal but I thought Ashton and Simmo were generally decent. Livesey is probably our best player at the moment and Williams looks a much better player than Grand. So on that basis why the hell do we need to play two holding midfielders and have everybody sit back and programmed defensively from the off. The only answer to that can be the management. Be it his direct tactics, or the negative vibes he gives off, but there's something worrying about the lack of confidence the team seem to have in each other.

We weren't even at the level of bad today, we just didn't even start in the first place to play badly. Nobody seemed arsed. Frustrating performance but we all expected it, and that's three times on the bounce now Fylde have beaten us deservedly, they're much the better team, seem more organized, more up for it and a bit more technical ability in there too.

Poor day. Red card cannot be used as an excuse, we were awful before it and probably tbh slightly better after it.

The reason we lost was lack of effort, lack of heart, lack of pride, call it what you want.

We just didn't seem interested.
Edmo did not say this on the interview but if this is the case then I wish he'd say it as it really is- so at least we know he's recognising what fans are seeing and saying every time we get results like this. Instead we are looking at him and he's getting the brunt of it and this may cost him in the long run. This was the game to show Fylde we have moved up a notch. How can you not be up for that?

I want to hear him come out and say if some of these players don't have the right attitude or are not showing in games. Then get shut of these players before it costs him his job. He's not going to get it right first time building this team and some will be moved on. He'll get all the backing from fans and the Chairman on the way so long as he recognises fans won't accept lack of effort.

Newby changed the game. He bossed it and the players responded. Start him.

Well that was shocking...my first and last away game of the season..
We weren't interested right from the 1st minute. Fylde were Better all over the park.
As others have said we are now in the 2nd season under Edmo AND WE STILL NEED A CENTRAL MIDFIELDER !!!!!!
Got to shout, someone may listen now.
Shocking signings, bad tactics....said it all before...
Baker ran the midfield for Fylde. Not hard really...We never got close to them...
Beaten by a bunch of part timers.....The sending off doesn't wash with me either......2nd best all over the park before that happened...
We need to sign a CM and a striker before season fizzles out....
Lost in the FA cup to a lower league team. Players not interested.
Time to bring in someone who can get this group playing decent football....
Edmo out for me....Its just not good enough...

Edmo logic.

Newby isnt good enough so lets get a Championship winger in to add something different to our other 5 wingers.
We are 1 down in a cup game that we are chasing , lets bring newby on to try and get a goal.

VDB hasnt played in as many games as we can remember . Lets bring him on and stick him as a one man strike force when we are chasing a a game

LETS LEARN TO PASS THE BALL 5 [SwearFilter] YARDS IN THE FINAL THIRD

Whitty If we only needed a central midfielder and a striker then that would be a good sign. But reading this thread and lets be honest here, from many other performances, we need a lot lot more.

Fyldes two favoured centre midfielders were OUT today.

They had Danny Rowe as a centre mid.

We play 2 centre backs and 2 defensive midfielders. Its never going to end well

A performance that lacked passion.A dull first half where we didn't have a shot at goal (neither did they). For me a rightful red card for Pilks for a two footed lunge when he lost the ball.We were not much better in the second half and when Cooky got injured that was game set and match.Funnily enough when Elliot Newby came on we improved a bit with him putting in some dangerous crosses but if we were still their now we wouldn't have scored. No excuse for Pilks and we need to get shut of Wilson as he is a liability and while we are at it there are one or two more that need to be shown the door.Symington for all the calling had a decent game at RB.Elliot Newby deserves a start.I don't know how much longer the fans will put up with these abject displays but the owner must be monitoring the situation closely.Anyhow,on the bus to Wrexham.

Can't fault Edmo as a person he's sound as a pound, and achieved great things on a limited budget at first! But I think he's gone as far as he can as Barrow manager! You make your own luck in football and I think Edmos has finally ran out!!! Do it early Mr Casson and build for next season I say!!!
Limited budget?

It was the biggest in that league!
