Barrow v Halifax match thread
Re: Barrow v Halifax
Think we'll extend our unbeaten run of 6 games to 7. 1-1 Jordan Williams. Think we'll be disappointed with their away support after a large away crowd has been expected

3-3 with a Cookie brace and Jase the ace sending most supporters home fairly happy.

Are there any concerns about the state of the pitch? Meant to be heavy rain in the next hour or so.

The pitch was absolutely fine on Friday when I was speaking with Gareth, as a matter of fact he tells me it was bone dry and it sounded like without a bit of rain it would have actually needed watering.JayStar wrote:Are there any concerns about the state of the pitch? Blue & White will probably be able to give an update.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Re: Barrow v Halifax
One minutes silence for Johan Cruyff or maybe people killed in Belgium, Yemen, Lahore etc. Who decides what is worthy of the now obligatory one minute silence?
We will follow the soccer, over land and sea...

Two changes, Walker in for Tomlinson and Haworth for Donahue:
Dixon, Sutton, Livesey, Grand, Anderton, Williams, Harvey, Parry, Haworth, Cook, Walker
Didn't catch who the subs were but Donahue not in the squad.

Sounds like Barrow putting early pressure on the Halifax defence.
