Good win that. Hopefully these 6 points will spur us on to a grandstand finish. Nice to see us scoring 4 goals. Pity we couldn't keep a clean sheet though. Did they bring many apart from a drum?
Stood behind Ray Wilkie for years. Best education I ever had.

You got that break in sequence spot on Mike....and even two of the scorers, pity you didn't have the faith to name the other twoglasgow_blue wrote:Hoping to end the last 6 game sequence of dwdwdw and pick up back to back victories for the 1st time this season. 2 nothing, Cook and Tomlinson att 1268
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Really impressed with the way Tomlinson took his goal, sent through by Jase on the halfway line so had a lot of time to run with it with the pressure on. Slowed down took a look behind him and took it round keeper. Great stuff

Couldn't see us getting 4 but happily take it Ian, as u say great result, we do look so more organised and hard to beat with Cox in charge

Good effort. Means only 1200 barrow boys though.Nigel Bamford wrote:232thegaffer77 wrote:Did they bring many apart from a drum?

Nice to be able to look forward to going to an away match at Aldershot next week with optimism.

Cracking win that. Thought both Harvey and Walker had great games. Hope we keep Walker next season even just as a squad player.
Even though their drum was annoying they barely stopped singing. Would be nice to hear some of that at Holker by our fans.

Re: Barrow v Halifax match thread
Al Ray Harvey man of match for me, I know we we've seen end of season contract performances like this from him before but I hope the new a manager might have eventually got the best from him.
J.williams excellent again, another good goal.
I know it was only a poor Halifax team with nothing to offer apart from long balls and a drum but we looked good today.
Grand, livesey and S. Williams all excellent in defence.
Good day and result.

Wouldn't normally wish it on anyone but I hope they get relegated so I won't have to listen that drum again. Does anyone know why they let it in the ground? Or who permitted it? Walker showed his best today and deservedly won MOTM
Just say no to VAR

Best I've seen from ARH for a while, thought Haworth looked dangerous 1st half especially, final ball let him down at times but thought he looked sharp and worked hard. Only downside was Dixons mad 20 minutes where looked all over the place. Good win, 3 more points, happy
