Personally thought Livesey was a bit rocky today, and struggled to clear his lines (though he was injured twice). Not a great game, and they maybe shaded it, but Harvey and Parry had a very good second half.

Not great, bit flat all round. Livesey once again outstanding no nonsense defending. We perked up last 10 min and could have nicked it - we'd have lost this game 2 months ago...

Draw a fair result in the end. Disappointing performance in comparison to recent games. We went a bit missing during periods of the game. Haworth and Williams didn't really assert themselves. Harvey and Parry excellent at chasing the ball down, intercepting, tackling etc, but we are still missing that Adam Murray-esque player who can spray balls around the park for fun. Whitaker and Whitehead were very good for Macc - rest of their team were bang average. I felt that we didn't test the keeper enough.
Still unbeaten, however, let's hope we can keep it up until the end of the season.

Unlike Mac we didn't close players down - just them them run and run, whereas our players were closed down straight away. When will we learn the basics?

An even game and 1-1 a fair result although either team could have won it. Not a classic but the plus point being we didn't lose.The ref had a decent game and tried to play advantage a few times before bringing play back.Jason is very good at winning penalties although in my opinion this one wasn't one.However we'll take it.
Another solid team performance with Livesey rightly being named MOM.
Finishing the season strongly and it would be nice to remain unbeaten at the death.All bodes well for next season if we can hang on to the players.Hope Cook stays,he is a colossus upfront.

Bit of a let down compared to what we've become used to lately, I kept waiting for us to "click" but it only seemed to happen in short periods rather than two thirds of the game as in the last couple of months.
A draw was a pretty fair result I suppose....although I wouldn't have complained if that late effort (not sure who by) had crept in off the post.
I thought Danny Livesey did very well considering he looked like he picked up a few knocks during the game, so fair enough him winning MOTM.
I also thought Joel Dixon had a decent game - caught pretty much everything that came his way.

Unbeaten run goes on against a team who have also had a decent run of late.

Enjoyed the game especially the first half both sides tried to play football but both defences were on top of their game. The Richie Sutton injury concerned me but credit where credit is due Symo hardly put a foot wrong when he came on, so maybe Paul Cox is getting the message to sink in with the entire squad! A draw was a fair end result plenty of creativity from both sides, on clear cut chances we probably shaded it but Macclesfield's endeavour away from home probably gave them what they deserved.

Macc were an attractive and well organised side, with two or three very good players - Reece Styche is on loan there from Kiddermister. I've said before we should have him..
Parry was excellent for Barrow. Never caught out of position, he passed cleverly and tackled effectively. A clever and talented player who we should try to keep.
Grand and Livesey effectively robust, but the former gets caught for pace too often. Otherwise good.
It's great to see Howarth and Harvey running around more, with masses more commitment; they seem different players.
