Season Ticket

Post by Middleton Nick » Tue May 03, 2016 12:37 pm

Last season I purchased a season ticket but unfortunately due to hols and how the games fell I missed more than was intended.Mark Mc helped me out to some degree but in the end it didn't really work out.
My question to the powers that be.Is it possible that consideration could be given to producing say half a season ticket which would cover half the home games.Instead of these tickets being numbered to cover exact games, they could be open to cover any of the home games during the season.Wouldn't be too difficult to administer in my opinion.
If not that then something based on the idea but re-jigged.Failing that it's pay as I go next season. :scarf:

Maybe you should contact the club with this query instead of an unofficial forum.

You wouldn't ask for a Footlong BMT in Argos would you?

I'll point Emma to this query Nick.

I know there were some other suggestions also made about season tickets but not sure on where they've got with them, bearing in mind Emma only just started officially last Friday.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

That's a cracking idea I think Nick - if the printing costs are feasible.

Season ticket holders should get at least £10 off corporate as they've already paid to get in.

More than that IMO. Should get at least the full match ticket cost knocked off (in return for that match's stub) and possibly a little extra incentive, for being a season ticket holder in the first place.

Nick,

Emma likes what you are suggesting. She will look into it further but a lot will come down to the ticket cost & demand. So, would anyone else be interested in an offer like this?

I suppose this would have to have a fairly quick respose, as well as a good amount of interest as Emma is already working with the printers regarding season tickets and programmes.

Don't think your going to reach a wide enough fan base on here Ian! Personally I think it's a great idea with many people working shifts and weekends now being part of the working week it should go down well!

Yep, I realise it won't be reaching a large amount of the support on here Mark but it's all I can do really.

It could be too late for her to organise, or even judge interest for the coming season but at least it's been brought to her attention now.

Can we not have the opportunity to electronically download or buy the programme online .. especially for those who can't get to the game..those living abroad..or those who can't get a programme because they are sold out.. isn't everything going digital now?

Hi Ian, i would certainly be interested. Working n/s at the moment so midweek games are out and was planning on not renewing my season ticket next season and paying on a game to game basis. Good idea imo

I just hope they are trying something radical with the pricing- like Sutton, Eastleigh etc did. It's likely not Emma's call that though..

I'd rather that than pay say Rhead a grand a week.

For some a monthly payment ST is also good, don't forget about that either please, even if it's a bit more.

Great idea, as a shift worker myself the full season ticket just dont make sense, this would work.
