That was poor, very poor. What we were doing clearly wasn't working yet we repeated it and repeated it and repeated it, for 90 mins. One very weak shot on target all game which was from Bennett in about the 85th minute tells its own story.

No need at all to panic yet, but we really were a lot poorer than I expected us to be.

Cox won this league, what, 7 years ago? Maybe the type of football he used to win the league with Mansfield won't be as effective in a league which is a lot stronger these days, with more money and a better standard.

Police a disgrace a tonight the supporters were criminals before they even stepped in the ground they are basically harashing fans who go home and away.

Yes some of us swear and drink why cant fans who want to do that go to games? Aslong as they respect those who dont like that.

Football is losing its soul large money, Laws attacking fans and a police force that is out to find the worst in fans before they have done anything.

Completely understand AB's post in that we never looked like scoring and didn't change the tactics even after the subs. You'd think we'd change it but we didn't and some players who you'd expect better of didn't perform. Was challenge from Dixon that gave away pen actually in area or a pen? Our set pieces were poor and why doesn't Dixon throw the ball out to Beeley to bring it out of defence.
We aren't quite as good as many initially thought.

Too much hoof ball, exposed in mid with arh getting bossed, poor set pieces apart from one corner, cooks celebration in front of us, Dixon's poor delivery from the goal kicks and lack of throws and police being hitlers for no need. Looking fwd to getting home

It wasn't good.
Harvey and Turnbull had stinkers, Hannah might as well not have bothered because nothing came his way, Diarra is okay in the air but not a footballer, Dixon always gonna make a mistake each match (definite penalty on first viewing).
Anderton had a real game, but that was about it. So many players frustrated by our own tactics tonight, which consisted of knocking it long for Hughes and hope he can knock it back to someone.
If the game plan was to play for 0-0, then that mostly worked, but for terrible marking from the corner. Tranmere weren't amazing, but they won everything in the air and every second ball too.
Subs came too late, and anybody could see we needed Howarth on to run at them - was a threat when he finally arrived. Tactics all wrong for this game.
