Re: Lincoln v Barrow match thread
Two cracking crosses and nifty finishes to match. Lovely stuff.
Re: Lincoln v Barrow match thread
Dixon is being protected alot better. His patty cake first save gave them the second chance to score,he was unlucky.
I would still have preferred a more experienced goalkeeper as I feel it's worth one goal a game.
If we want a Marque signing how about Joey as I think he will be leaving Rangers

Great ball out to Williams for 2nd goal, was that Hannah? Can't really tell on my phone.
Re: Lincoln v Barrow match thread
Just watched the highlightes on Utube. Decent stop by Dixon, bit slow to react and an unfortunate bounce off the incomng Arnold. Not a lot he could do. Did similar in second half but ball was kicked away. Cant blame Dixon too much. He doesnt need all this stuff on his back. He is confident and good enough on his day...as is the rest of lads. Hope we can get the ground fuller with the York visit. This set of lads need the support if just for the effort they put in. Teams are now looking at us and saying "not looking forward to this game".

Looking back on the highlights, would like to see Smith take a yellow for the team to make sure they don't counter when he was up against their man in their half after it had just been headed clear from our attack

Breaking the rules isn't cheating.orpheus wrote:yes but thats cheating and it doesnt happen often does it LOLOLOLOL
It's only cheating when you try to deceive the referee I.e. diving.

Re: Lincoln v Barrow match thread
That could be suicide by signing, we don't need any superstar toxic personality on the training field challenging the managers ideals/methods & being an entitled knob while unsettling everything we are creating, just my opinion.Pedro wrote:Dixon is being protected alot better. His patty cake first save gave them the second chance to score,he was unlucky.

Re: Lincoln v Barrow match thread
A wee bit undecided with the 1st Dixon save. Can't tell from highlights if the ball moved in the air or not like the modern football tends to. If it did, i don't think he could have done much more, if it didn't, i think he'll be a bit disappointed he didn't deflect it away from the goal. That said he's a young keeper who's going to drop the odd howler [not saying yesterday was 1] but who's going to get better. Does anyone know if we have a goalkeeping coach?

This site is full of absolute idiots,we have just won away at top of the league and are the highest placed we have been for years, yet all some can do is come on here criticising our young keeper, who is still learning developing, what is wrong with you people. I hope to god he doesn't read these posts as his confidence will be shot. All keepers make errors, ive just watched de gea play like a [SwearFilter],and hes one of the best, supposidly. Get off the lads case and support him.

Re: Lincoln v Barrow match thread
I think 10 mins of chanting his name showed how much the fans at the game yesterday appreciated his efforts
