Macclesfield Town GAME OFF

Post by Suffolk Blue » Sun Nov 27, 2016 9:08 pm

Wouldn't normally set this one off but I came across a really unusual stat about Macclesfield on Flash Score.

Macc have won ten league games this season thus far (home and away). In every game that they have won they have led at half-time. Only in one other game does it appear that they've led at half-time and then subsequently lost.

So if we can stay with them until half-time, the stats say we will not lose. However go in down at HT and statistically the game is up. Oddly Dagenham have a similar stat having led in 11 out of 13 wins at HT. However their form in the other matches is more reasonable - or it was before they played Gateshead and Barrow.

Having said that I will go for a 1-1 (Harrison). Think both sides will have one eye on the FA Cup.

Macclesfield do not have a good home record they have lost 4 at home. Barrow are in such good form that a 2-0 win is inevitable :D :D :D
Just say no to VAR :sentoff:

Good shout. The current forecast for Macc is +2 during the day and then -2 from about 18:00. Touch and go i'd say.....

Barrow winning 1-0 (Harrison) when the match is abandoned because of freezing fog.

You could be right. According to the Met Office for Macclesfield, temperature 0C to -1C from 1a.m. to 9 a.m, then between 0C and 3C up 5 p.m. then down to 0 and then -1C up to 11 p.m.

Macclesfield also haven't beaten anybody higher than Aldershot (11th), and have only picked up most of their points against the bottom six. Anything but a win would be a poor result really.
3-1 to Barrow.

This better be on, I could be back home on the beach now

If it is on, I think Macc 0 - 3 Barrow in front of 1465 with 120 from Barrow :scarf:

Any chance you can charm the weather gods into making tonight above 0 in Macclesfield? You did a good job with Hades :D
