I'm a season ticket holder, who phoned and I'm the Trust. Form a queue behind me folks.

I just don't get why Trust members get priority. I can see the principle but there is no official link and as far as I'm concerned this wasn't outlined in it's formation. There will be people who go to 10 away games a season on a trust bus but not be members, surely they've contributed? I don't see how something like this can suddenly be introduced half way through a season. Should be announced as in place for next season.

Season Ticket Holders then everybody else. It won't sell out anyhow.

And why did it take over a week to announce this ?

So theres a list out thats got season ticket holders and trust members on it which will now give the wrong indication when season ticket holders and trust members buy their "priority tickets".

It's as if someones just said " we best make a list of fans that will be interested", everyones just blindly agreed and no ones actually questioned the reasoning.

Agree strongly with Hayman that if the trust members should benefit from being first in line for priority tickets then that should be stated from the start of the season not just when theres a need for priority tickets.

Still there will be the same old people defending the people up there that don't really know what they are doing on many fronts.

Get the tickets sold in the ground on the boxing day fixture,gates open from 2pm,fully stocked shop and a bit of family entertainment going on, after all is Christmas. Big home crowd against gateshead could create a belting atmosphere.

Anyway the Trust sell programs for the club and the half time raffle which raises money for the community part of the club.

The trust provide away travel for most Barrow away games which is mainly used by trust members.

The trust help organise the food bank collection, Maintenance of the ground and other bits of community work like free tickets for different parts of the Barrow community.

So its a small reward for all the help the trust and its members provide to the club.

The maintenance volunteers were in place before the Trust was set up unless they do their own thing under a different guise. Some of our volunteers might be Trust members but it is nothing to do with the work being carried out.
Did the BDF get priority tickets for any games in the past?

Giving priority to season ticket holders enables those with the necessary wad at the beginning of the season to jump the queue. There are many who will still go to every home game and most likely away games too who cant afford a lump sum who then may miss out.

People may go to every home game but don't want to commit to joining the Trust for whatever reason.

There is no totally fair way to prioritise tickets.

My option would be, show tickets stubs (if we've printed enough) from the last four or so home games and you get first dibs.

Other than that, first come first served. If you're that bothered you'll make the effort to buy the ticket. They won't sell out in a minute, we're not Adele.

Actually getting the [SwearFilter] tickets on sale would also help.

If they'd joined the Trust they'd have more than recouped the cost in cheaper coach fares - and have priority (after season ticket holders) for match tickets.
