Odd one really. Barrow have under used two forwards who find them selves on the bench/ out of the squad but are looking to bring in another one when the front two has been pretty much the same two players all season.

Also, five or six needed. I wonder what positions. A centre mid would be nice as thats a weakened position but Barrow have 4 centre backs so it would be odd to see any more on that front. Maybe a winger and a both sided full back but I don't see 6 players needed to be added.

Of all the teams at the top of the National League we appear to have the smallest squad. It has been said a couple of times that we have gone into games with only 14 fit players, others carrying injuries and making up the numbers. If we are going to stay near the top we need more bodies to make up for injuries and suspensions that are now beginning to appear more often. I suspect these 5-6 players positions will be across the team.

Just on the front men... The front two are beginning to look tired, Bennett was never supposed to be a first choice and always looks leggy in the final third of most games. Hannah somehow can't hit the net, the others unproven and like Bennett probably not signed for regular action.

You do realise it means "tired" in comparison to other footballers who have maybe only played half the amount of games as some of our lot? What you're saying is that no full-time athlete should be more fatigued than another, regardless of how often they are asked to perform.

We have been given constant warnings that we are short of several players by Paul Cox
I honestly think we are one dimensional otherwise why not play one of last season's leading scorers and adjust our game accordingly.Hannah needs more starts.
Once our team has figured out how we play they neutralise our game.
Bennet needs to be given a rest he is an up and coming talent but he is no Andy Cook who consistently battered people into submission.
I said in December we will find out in January what will become of Mr Cassons experiment.
Before I get too much stick I've followed Barrow since league days and when studying at Lancaster would get off the train at night to go watch the reserves in the Northern Floodlight League .

I cant help feeling that some of the players heads have been turned by talk of possible intrest from other clubs, if this is the case the club need to get it sorted one way or another as with the size of the squad we have we can't afford players not putting 100% like last nights shambles of a performance

Good post & very valid point, its no coincidence performances of key players have dropped since rumoured to be apparently being watched. Needs sorting so the team can go back to playing at the standard they're clearly capable of.

Is he getting full support from casson? is he making subtle threats about his own position?

Cant afford to loose cox for sure!

There are none of them good enough to have their heads turned. Danny Livesey is still the best player in the team and he' s no spring chicken!
