We don't have a big enough squad to compete for both promotion and the FA Trophy.
Others DO but still DON'T field first team regulars in the tounament...

It's alright lads, we'll end Cox's time at Barrow on Saturday. Just as we ended his time at Mansfield in the same cup

From that article it seems changes are imminent.
The key word he uses to me seems to be "intensity"
We've played power hoofball at our best times of the season so far, putting constant pressure on the opposition to defend their own half. Need to be fit, strong, athletic and committed to play that intense style.
Think we have run out of steam.
We've been sussed out, and better teams can play against it (e.g. Rochdale) without a lot of danger.
Poorer teams are not having to deal with the dynamic in your face stuff because we are knackered physically, and arguably tactically.
So does PC play power hoofball with different personnel but the same tactic?
Or will the tactics change, and different personnel being brought in to play a different style?
Something has to happen or we end up with mid table mediocrity.

Paul Cox must be feeling let down by his players. Lets get behind him and give him the support he needs. By the end of the season he will give us much to shout about and feel proud to be a BAFC supporter.

I have to say that Paul Cox's recent comments weren't exactly 'uplifting' taken from the current players' perspective.

To have performed such feats as the fantastic unbeaten run/5th from top of the National League/third round of the FA Cup only to have your manager state that CHANGES were going to take place!
It would make a player think...

My only question after these two league match losses is "where is the rest of the board?" They are silent lambs when the club needs to see your support of the club. Mr Casson, maybe you can give them all a few lessons in PR/marketing. We cannot count on you to do everything.

Unfortunately, in this game, Tomahawk Kid, you are only as good as the last game. History means nothing. Paul Cox has every right to blast his players. It's us who are paying the money to watch. He knows that and he wants to make sure we all get entertainment value. Not half hearted, moping and disinterest on the pitch. You don't do it at work, and you certainly don't do it as an entertainer of the paying public
