We got out of jail there poor for most of the match , as for the decision taking hannah off the crowd aren't stupid and ok Bennett scored but if people are being honest on here there is no way he should have stayed on, he'd missed a sitter and his overall performance was no where near that of hannah''s but as I say it worked out
Still we are not playing together and some of the decision making leaves a lot to be desired.
We need ato least 3 more quality players if we are to make the playoffs .
As for enjoying it , some of the home performances of late have been abysmal and people who pay good money have a right to give constructive criticism!

Didn't look like we could buy a goal never mind score one! But we did and thankfully two others soon followed.

Akil Wright worked his socks off as did Ross Hannah but was chasing lost causes, never really got a sniff in his time on the pitch. Feel for the lad at the minute but didn't like to see him walk off to the changing rooms once substituted. Danny Livesey was immense once again.

Certainly the substitutions were rammed back down the throats of those booing the manager a few minutes before Bennett scored.

You may be right. But often, these guys may provide the confusion and opportunities for others to create scoring chances. It may have been the game plan. How can we criticise when we won. We can only assume that Cox knows how to 'grind out results'.

Pylon by the Holker street traffic lights only had 2 lights working..

Was really dark in that corner, was even worried the ref might question this later on.
After the strong winds of the last few days, you'd think flood lights would have been checked over - particularly considering their known condition.
That pylons lights will need to be sorted before next game.

It was a poor performance against a poor side and the team today simply didnt meet expectations.

I wouldn't swop Paul Cox for any other non league manager but he needs support from the owner, the next few weeks will tell us if he's willing to do this.

How much more money do you think the owner is prepared to put in when he must have put in circa 2 million in already - 2 seasons ago we lost over 800K in 1 season.

If it's promotion Paul Casson wants then he'll have to spend, as noted, BAFC are only top 6 club who haven't bought a player, loan deals are fine while they last and finding players from lower leagues is good for the future but if the owner wants the promotion he says he wants then it needs more. If consolidation in the league and a top 10 finish is the aim this season, then we are bang on target.

A win yes but for the majority of the game we were awful.We could hardly string two passes together and never looked like scoring.Hannah tried hard and was amazed that he was subbed instead of Bennett who along with Hughes were below the required standard.
It took Matlock to go 2-0 up,the first of which I need to see again (pen),before we kicked into gear.They probably tired and Bennett scored twice and king captain Livesey to give us the win.
Perhaps its the boost we need because we have a lack of confidence.Hopefully we can go to York and get back on the victory trail.
Just a word on the lights which were terrible.I am sure that at the moment they do not give out sufficient light and unless they are seen to our game against Lincoln City may be in doubt.

100% agree, it came across as a very passionate post match interview. Can't afford to lose him at such an important stage.

This is always the risk with these old pylons. Something will have to be done this week.

It was really dark in the corner by the traffic lights but that was not the only issue.
Sat in the stand when it went dark in the second half a lot of the lights on the new pylon were shining directly into the grandstand and not down on the pitch.
People were having to shade their eyes.
The lux levels in some areas of the pitch are surely not upto permitted levels.
