What was interesting to see was that towards the end we tried to pull the Matlock players out wide to make space in the middle

The Ref was from Portsmouth but on Holiday in the lakes and informed the FA he was available if needed bet his wife was happy, from Radio Cumbria

Yeah, but we could still be tying up deals for the surplus Football League players well into February.

lad in cross keys tonight telling me cox is on verge of walking. not enjoying the game at the moment. long commutes to an unhappy dressing room. not being given funds to sort it out. did the same at torquay

Don't know why but I get a feeling that PC and PC are prepared to play a long game and won't be plying everything on this season. Plus weren't Torquay in financial straits at that time he went

It was reported that Paul Cox wasn't being paid at Torquay, which is why he left.

No he played today.
Just not a player to fit into our style of play and system. Said at start of season he wouldn't get ten goals for us.
Offside a lot as well.

I guess some of the players may occasionally read this too. I can see why the wonderful contribution from 'mikemarshhewasgood' puts the dampers on positive feelings. Mike Marsh was excellent but no need to lose confidence and get all teary lads. You can't all be that good. Amazing that he can still have that sort of influence in the dressing room really. A testament to his ability.

First visit to Barrow in 21 years and I have not missed it.

Your ground has deteriorated badly, what ever happened to the roof at the railway end of the ground? The visitors corner is a disgrace.

You look like a typical Cox side I am afraid. A pity as some of your players obviously have some real quality, just a shame under Cox they can not play any football.

Two differences on the day, full time training means your players are very fit and your strikers are a little bit sharper than Matlock's defenders.

Segregation, what a joke! Still it means the little boys behind the goal in the second half can pretend they are big and hard.

Ross. Looks like his legs have gone. He never had a kick

Floodlights, are Barrow in the National league or the North West counties league, but that just shows how much your ground is decaying.
