Cox needs to get this team sorted for the start of next season now in my opinion. Don't think we are strong enough to make the playoffs and maybe what is available in January won't be the same quality that's available at the end of the season. Since Yates got injured / left , we haven't seemed to have the guile to grind out results.

I see the FA trophy as being ever important now, to keep the season alive.

The danger signals have been there for a while. Struggling to beat Taunton a team much lower down the pyramid. Struggling to beat Harrogate a team halfway down the league below us. Struggling to beat Matlock a team 2 leagues below us who currently are only drawing at home to Workington and worst of all losing at home to Southport a team who were thumped 4-2 at home by North Ferriby today. Add today and it's difficult to see who in this league we can beat at the moment!

We needed to make a couple of signings to make a statement of our intentions (we still might ) .Keith says what's wrong at Holker street, well hand on heart some of the home games have been uninspiring to say the least .
We should be giving the fans something to look forward to
Future plans for stadium
New shirt suppliers
Announcement of where we want to be
Engage with local schools (I would have handed out 300 free tickets,for the Lincoln game which would mean relations attend )
We don't get people talking about the club
We should be promoting all positive things in the pipeline.
But all we get isome conflicting messages
We have Cox banging on about the size of the squad (I don't blame him)
It's all so frustrating our board need to wake up but I get the feeling that every decision has to come from Dallas while Paul Casson has the money I don't think this set up is ideal we need an experienced chief executive to move this club forward.
There Keith thanks for winding me up even more after getting beat!

Ah, but it's easier to moan from a distance than actual be proactive.

A bit worrying at the moment as they seem to have lost their way and we aren't getting bits of luck we were getting earlier in the season. Hopefully Cox can keep them working hard and hopefully we can just grab something that will help them get some confidence back.

We are desperately short of leaders in the side which isn't helping, need a strong spine which has gone missing since Yates went back, coincidence or not I'm not sure.

Roll on Tuesday and a a chance to have a go at Lincoln.............

We've been found out pretty quickly. We need to be able to change our one dimensional tactics mid game. And replace Yates.

Maybe the penny has drop for Casson that he really is wasting his time and money, the crowds are dreadful for a team in the top six of the league we were getting more in Conference North it won`t be long before Cox is thinking the same.

We have been poor for a while. Today we deserved what we got..... nothing. However,we are still in touch and a play off place is achievable and I will settle for that.

True. Sounds like you haven't travelled that far midweek. Its around a 200 mile each way drive. People work up until 4:30 -5PM + 3 hours drive. Not good. Think it through before you rabbit on Renfrew Refugee. Not everyone can take time off midweek.

Grim game

First half awful only a poor decision by diarra allowed them to score.

Second half better without testing keeper who makes the mistake and Williams gets a cracking goal. Then we start playing like first half and York get a winner thats probably not deserved.

Ref and linesman shite aswell.

Stleast its been a cracking weekend in York and will look forward to enjoying another night here.

Two big games now and minimum of 4pts needed.

A few personal observations from just having watched the match.
Better performance, but awful result.
Sloppy goals. Flatt slow off his line for the first.
Harrison body language all wrong.
Williams innocuous.
York much better than bottom of the table, but still pretty poor.
Overall play we deserved to win, but only one or two shots on target.
Ref was very poor, and a real homer.
Anderton had a good game.
A good old fashioned little ground, with great modern floodlights.
Disappointment.
