Lucky to get over 1200 there. Many won't want to leave the nice warm pub where you can have a beer while watching the game on the telly than stand in a cold and probably wet holker street. 1-1

Barrow 2-1 Lincoln (Livesey 2)
Attendance 1457
A Livesey inspired performance gets Barrow back on track.

Att 1123 (864 Barrow 259 Lincoln).
A few Barrow fans will watch on TV rather than go to the game.
The term 'fan' comes from fanatical I think, i.e. someone who is fanatical about something.
If they are in a pub on Tuesday night they are more beer fans than Barrow AFC fans.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Very true.

2-1 to Barrow.
Rhead scores a consolation goal in the 93min. Runs towards goal. Trips up. Ball hits his falling body. Reflects onto the cross bar and bounces back. Whilst still in mid air and shooting like a 6-4" missile towards the goalmouth, the ball hits the back of his heels which trickles over the line as our goal keeper stands mesmerised by the antics of our Shakespearian actor and number 9 for Lincoln.
Now that is worth seeing isn't it? The crazy thing is that he did something similar when he used to played for Corby Town.

There should be a ban on any pub within a 20mile radius showing tonight's gamebarrowbarrow11 wrote:... Many won't want to leave the nice warm pub where you can have a beer while watching the game on the telly than stand in a cold and probably wet holker street.

So if Sutton Utd are on TV you'd ban it from every pub in London?tommy2thumbs wrote:There should be a ban on any pub within a 20mile radius showing tonight's gamebarrowbarrow11 wrote:... The clubs voted for TV matches and receive cash for it so have to accept there may be a reduced crowd when they're on TV.
