Tuton showing why he was deserving of being stuck straight in the side. Worked hard, showed some good glimpses, and set up the goal.

Match was okay, though it felt more pedestrian than any league game. Kidderminster had a lot about them until the goal, but no plan B. However, Flatt's incredible stop in the last minute was as important as any goal. Best keeper we've had all season.

Didn't think there was anywhere near 1,100 in the crowd!

Still a couple of players look a bit out of sorts, but that was a decent performance in the scheme of things.

Cox interview: Credit to Chairman for turning down bids for our players; Cox has been patient, happy with signings; Jack Thomas a "Yates carbon copy" who has already played 18 games in League 2 at age 20; looking for more signings but probably defensive ones to give cover; Bennett injury doesn't look too serious.

Liked the look of tuton today some nice touches. kiddy looked a not bad side and you could see why they are second in their league it took us time to break them down.
Job done in the end and through to the next round

Tight game was no surprise considering that Kiddy have only conceded 22 goals in 26 games in Conf North.

(Incidentally, off topic, Fylde were beaten 5-0 by Salford today, but still well ahead at top of the table)

That was exactly as I expected it. A tight game but we did just enough. Still look shaky at set pieces and when teams run right at us. Tuton was excellent today in his first game.

Come on we can get a little excited about this now. Last 8!!
