Perhaps the club are appealing to gain time to get a replacement in. Once that is done I suppose they think one extra game is worth the gamble if it works.

beeley was a red card all day I was there !no defence he deserved it ~anderton was a bit harsh but believe it was for persistent fouling so hey ho

Interesting one, that! Witness for the defence Milud? Seems to support the impression that the 'stamp' was a gesture of frustration that didn't make contact.

Would be surprised if the appeal was successful - especially as I believe it was not a straight red. Indicates PCs desperation to get Beeley back for Wednesday. Don't be surprised therefore if we end up with Wright and Turnbull in defence rather than 2 loanees yet to appear. On the other hand, I fancy our chances against Torquay on Saturday.

It was a straight red - you can't appeal it when it's two bookings.

I misunderstood the context of the original notifying post then. I took it to mean that it was now 3 games but it was less previously. My bad.
It was still never going to be overturned though. Do clubs at our level still risk getting hit by increased bans for frivolous appeals?
