Director resigns

Post by barrowfan_chris » Tue Apr 04, 2017 8:03 pm

It would seem our stadium manager and director (Steve Patton) has resigned according to company house.

Has he gone totally? Or resigned as director but carry on his role?

Who's going to sort the after match pizzas out?

If he has its no big loss anyways. Didn't put any of his own cash in and seemed to get a free ride most of the time.

Free travel to away games, free hotels, 3 course meals before games with opposition directors, free tracksuit etc. Not a bad deal ey.

Does anyone know what his role is? On the website every other directors role is explained...

He doesn't make much attempt to understand the support but he doesn't deserve a slating IMO.

He did a lot for the players, sorting out travel, comps, family visitors, grub, bringing the kit, equipment etc, that kind of thing- they appreciated it. He's got the best relationship with the team I'd say as all those mall things are important to them. Its much like some of the stuff he did for the rezzies a fair while ago I suppose.

That's not to say I didn't think a Reays bus for him, The Family Dodd (Directors scions only) Elliot Newby and a kitbag for Chester wasn't ridiculous

I suspect he will keep doing that role, but who knows> Maybe moving on to spend more time family wise without the daft title and having to listen to twaddle he's not interested in.

a former member of this forum will know all and be able to tell us though :D .

You can resign as a director of a company and still be employed by them...

Yes he has. He can resign and still work there, do you understand that?
