Yes saw that on Twitter , seems he had an illness and came back at the end of November and according to my research on wiki, soccer base , transfer market scored 7 goals from 15 starts ,sounds like a decent player as he has been top scorer at all his clubs in last five years.

I think we may have found ourselves a gem here as it's always good when fans of the previous club wanted him to stay.

Welcome aboard Jordan. You'll like it here, it's always interesting :)

Hope this season we can have meet the new signing nights in the CrossBar like the Rugby do (or at least used to do). Happened to be in the other bar at Crofters one night when the Raiders were announcing the new signing and it looked like it was great night.
They had a meet the player night last season, it was an enjoyable evening.

The rugby have the players in and you can sponsor them there and get pictures and stuff. They raise tens of thousands towards the season every year. Impressive stuff.

I hope we've only signed him as 'cover' for our other strikers. Why?
Well...in the interview with Paul Cox in the EM he mentions that he missed out to WREXHAM when trying to sign a new striker.
I might be wrong - and I hope I am - but it could be a case of Wrexham thinking:
''Well, we signed the player we wanted...we can now let Jordan White go to Barrow''. And with regard to the same interview it sounds like he wasn't the first choice on our list.

Good luck to the lad, anyway. Hope he bags a ton of goals for us.

The article actually says "(Cox) has been in discussions with several targets, although he is thought to have missed out on at least one to Wrexham."
No mention of Wrexham signing up other strikers - it more than likely refers to Shaun Pearson.

White will have been wanted by Wrexham, no doubt about that.

The one we missed out on to Wrecham I believe was Holroyd from Macclesfield.

If you looking at starts only...

Harrison 3 goals in 6 starts (0.5 goals a game) Stevenage, League 2
White 7 goals in 16 starts (0.43 goals a game) Wrexham, Nat. League

Prior to Wrexham White was...
0.39 Livingston and 0.42 Stirling, if you include cups this rises to 0.46 Livingston and 0.51 Stirling.

Harrison's previous record was worse...
0.25 at Chesterfield and 0.3 at Cheltenham, from what I can tell Byron didn't play in the cups for these teams.

I understand White has been the top scorer at his last 3 clubs which is not to be sniffed at and appears to be a pretty consistent scorer in recent years. Looks like we have acquired a decent player in White, welcome aboard Jordan.

So Paul Cox signs another striker, then needs to offload a striker to balance the books, Livesey & Beeley released wtf did he not strengthen the defence first????
