Im going to attempt to nip this in the bud now.
We appreciate all comments regards our coverage and yes as supporters we may be slightly biased however do try to be as neutral as possible.

Regards the coverage our club gets some people don't realise how lucky we have to get the media access we do
People arent always going to agree but that is the wonders of football.

To put it in to perpesctive.
Dagenham as bigger club as they are had no coverage at all today and are likely to get none all season as bbc essex are concentrating on Leyton Orient.

We are not setup as a rival to radio cumbria, far from it. We are there to offer a different view if people want it.
Radio Cumbria do a great job and as for Andy Wood he's a great lad who has always given me advice when needed and does a great job.

We are very privelidged to have 2 radio stations offering LIVE commentary of Barrow Games up and down the country. Long may it continue

I'd like to see you become more of a "shock-jock" - call people out on here , mention a former member of this forum for his agenda, Pedro as his less intelligent sidekick etc, Anyone who [SwearFilter] you off destroy them over the airwaves

That would soon stop any negative comments, ........either that or get you shut down.

When are the equal or better players coming?
Have heard the club have contacted the Venkys to see if they can supply a Vindaloo as we are following there business model

No point in being all doom and gloom in the first game of the season and it wasn't the easiest first game for the lads it's going to take a game or two for the team to gel we just have to be patient and keep positive and keep supporting and things should come together there is plenty of time to bitch about the team later in the season but definitely not after the first game.

Gomis was excellent today as were ARH, and Diarra. Dunne looked pretty solid and Yuseff had a good second half - very strong, quick on the turn and caused a few problems.

In my opinion, White was awful.. Doesn't look mobile and seemed to jog to close down the defenders. Didn't look interested and not saying he isn't and obviously this is just one game. The game changed for the better when Cockerline and Harry P came on and the last 15 minutes we were excellent piling the pressure on their defence who had it so easy in the first half. Also, Audel got done too many times by their number 10 in the first half but the whole defence seemed comfortable in the second.

I disagree with a comment earlier that Barrow deserved nothing from the game. In my eyes they had the first half we had the second and a point would have been the fair result on the balance of play.

Cox won't be too disheartened by that performance, especially with the response from going 2 down. I feared we may roll over at one point but we managed to stay in the game and should have nicked a point.

Commentry said Gomis was awful. Could'nt trap it, pass it, and never tracked back. A bit better later on. Two completely different views. One, an unbiased commentator and summerisers opinions, and another from a well known biased fan perhaps !

Well I have to say I agree with the commentary because I thought Gomis was worst player on park in first half, he gave the ball away for the second goal and I reality cost us a point.
He also got in the way of White when he was heading for goal up the other end and ended on the ground as they collided it looked like.
I actually couldn't believe how bad he was.
We also gave away a stupid pen,so in reality the defence and Gomis cost us the points.
We were awful first half and its one of the worst displays I've seen ever.
We tried long ball after long ball to White and to be fair to the bigman he won more than his fair share of headers and flick ons but hardly was anticipated by the other players.

We did look a lot better second half, starting playing around on deck and the goal was a peach, great ball in and Jones took it so well.

One good point to come out this game

Radio Cumbria? Gomis broke up the play alot, was tracking back and seemed to be all over the field. Their midfielders hated him. There was one occasion where he did get caught in possession and it lead to a half chance for them but apart from that he didn't put a foot wrong from what I saw. Man of the match for me.

Commentray probably gave White man of the match then.

The commentator has no agenda against us. We have coverage of every game. Do you want it stopped? just because you and other [SwearFilter] heads don"t like the truth.He just says it as he sees it for the fans who can't go. So does the guest summerisor.

First time I've listened to Radio Cumbria and I wasn't impressed.

One of the commentators started slating Barrow fans before the game (think it was related to low attendances at Holker Street) saying we should all stop believing that Paul Casson is going to do this and that and that getting us back into the EFL isn't to happen overnight. He didn't exactly say what WE should be doing, however.

Mmmm...I don't know if the guy is a Barrovian but I wonder if he attended the Forum for the presentation evening given by Paul Casson just before he took over the club. If he had done he might have heard Mr Casson make a few promises...which we all actually believed! I'm not taking a pop at Mr Casson...I believe the dream will come true eventually. I just wish the guy on the radio had thought before he spoke...

I only managed to listen to the first 25 mins but the whole of the show seemed to be focused on Carlisle v Swindon...

Regarding the game: I like the fact that we held them for 70 mins after they'd scored their opening goals + that we scored in the 89th min - shows determination and a fighting spirit. Keep The Faith!

I've always hated BBCRC but had no other choice, the only good commentator was John Goodwin. Now that Lonsdale are broadcasting I have stopped listening to RC, the great thing is that i enjoy the commentary rather than it being the best of two bad stations.

Really?

He may have given the ball away in the midfield but there was a defence there that could and should really have closed Cheek down instead of backing off him and leaving him the space to score an absolute screamer.

Nothing much, weird set up at Dagenham, a segregated stand but both sets of fans use same bar underneath it at half time.
Few cockney lads tried mouthing off, stewards intervened and stood in between , then it got a bit pushy, a bit of beer went flying then everyone returned to their segregated areas. Nothing to get excited about.
Why they can't let us go on the spare empty terrace I don't know.
But I Suppose they couldn't rip us off for £21 quid if that was the case.
