Now I like Al Ray but when he stepped up for that free kick near the end had me screaming at the Telly, NOOOOO anyone but Alex.

Can't help but feeling Paul cox [SwearFilter] us over with this squad. As much as I rated him I don't feel half this squad are up to the challenge this season

First game Iv been to this season, main thing that jumped out was the virtually non existent number of kids in the Barrow end?! Think my lad was the only kid there..very concerning.
Yussuf looked handy, would of been a different game if one the first half chances went in...nearly snapped my neck with all the hoofball going on..

What a load of rubbish

When he was here we were unbeaten in all of our games apart from Dagenham

Paul Cox is a good Manager end of story, Casson better get it sorted and quick

And?
... therefore too old to be player manager at this level. I apologise for not spelling it out for you.
36 at this level is nothing if a player manager, i shouldn't need to spell that out to you

I could see Grant being very useful playing with a quick man like Harrison or Yussef. Knows how to protect the ball and it would be tough for players at this level to get it off him easily.

Crazy player swap at a weird time??

Again why no criticism of the management team they train pick the squad?
What could you train Liam Hughes to do? He's an absolute unit

We created 4 clear chances vs their 2 ...the game was lost as soon as Makoma was taken off. Big mistake, I believe we would have won the game if he had stayed on the pitch. I'm not saying he himself would have made the difference individually, but we seemed to lack that 10% energy when he came off.

For what it's worth I don't think we were that bad and think we do have some decent players. Under the right manager, and if Casson now realises that Paul Ogden should be getting these gems he's paid to get, we will be challenging at the right end of the table.

We need 2 - 3 good additions but it's not the end of the world. It's a long season ahead and we need a manager who relishes the challenge.

This lot seem to have the better of us every time we play them.

I think we have some decent players but our early results are showing it's going to take some time to gel. Over to you next Manager in waiting.

It's just typical Barrow in the Conference, go up, have a couple of good seasons and get relegated, been here plenty of times. We need someone to come in and wobble some heads otherwise we will stuggle. Personally, i didn't see anything tonight to instill confidence against what was a very average side.
