Moore gave a decent interview on BBCRC too. I like the cut of his jib. It'll be interesting to see how we go against Tranmere.

Excellent performance, good football in the first half and a spirited effective performance in the second when down to ten men. The interim management team certainly did their cause no harm.

They got off to a good start by picking the best team available! Having 2 good strikers like Harrison and Yussef is a big plus in this league. Once Harrison is fully match fit it will be even better.

You could argue Yussuf is not quite 100% match fit due to his late recruitment & ban, When these 2 gel

That's more like it, showed great spirit after the sending off and playing 10 against 12 against a load of niggly gits and an atrocious referee. The sending off got the crowd more animated and right behind the team, that's what Barrow is all about, people with smiles on their faces, not sat at home playing at being keyboard warriors.

Our club might often seem a bit crazy with the things that go on but today is always a new day and this day (presumably the last match in front of the sacred old floodlights) was one to remember. I could say all fight, guts and discipline with 10 men in the second half but it was more than that; we were playing some good stuff up to 2-0. Impressive and promising. The keeper dropped a clanger to immediately let them back in at 2-1 but I'll definitely give him the benefit as only moments earlier he suffered what looked like an horrific fall on his head . . . plus he made a stupendous save from the last effort of the match. Barthram likes to get forward doesn't he? What's our right back doing turning up on the left wing and sticking the chance away like an accomplished striker? Well deserved prolonged ovation at the end. The spirit of the side was great to see. Those old floodlights are gonna miss seeing performances like this so I would personally dedicate this one to them as they bid us farewell after 54 years of great service.

Very good performance. We played to feet and these players showed they can do that.
Bignot seemed to be more vocal and running it. A different team out there today and happier fans. Well done management and our players.
Play like that and the stay away fans will be back.

Great match to watch today. I thought Yussuf was immense. I honestly can't think of a Barrow forward in recent years that has a first touch like that. IMO easily the most skilful player on the pitch. The season starts here!

Really enjoyed today, lots of attractive football and a deserved 2-1 victory. Obviously the second half we had to dig in with only ten men and we did just that.
Applause rang out at the final whistle and deservedly so. Give yourselves a pat on the back lads and the management team.
Glad to see Dixon on the bench because I am not sure about Moore albeit he made a fine save at the death.
Onwards to Tranmere and more of the same please.
