Fine lines is a phrase bandied about at the moment and one at which the naysayers sneer but there is one indisputable fact. ONE more goal scored in every game this season and we would be top and unbeaten. You can't get anymore 'fine line' than that. A proven goalscorer at whatever cost is a must. I would even consider Bennet and/or Cook both seemingly out of favour at the moment.

From an effort perspective, I don't think I've seen a Barrow team give as much since the Daz and Dave era. Every player worked hard and it was great to see White try and gee up the crowd. They clearly care and that's got be a good thing. They were better to watch than in many of the matches I've been to over the last 5 years, though I only get to a few living in the North East.

From a quality perspective though, this was a game between two limited teams who were well matched. Both teams played very open football, and we can still clearly create chances. Hopefully the defence will get better as they play together, but they were far too open. A cliche but they need to do the basics: through balls and high balls were getting past them far too easily. A bit of a shame but I don't think this eleven could have (last night) played better than they did. So there are real problems with the quality of the squad and that's not easily fixed, though perhaps as they continue to play together then some improvement can come from that.

We can get results that are better than we're getting. On another night, we'd have won this game. But that seems to happening quite a bit, and there is a risk of us becoming detached if we don't get a win in the next few games. Big match on Saturday against a Leyton Orient team whose form is as poor as ours.

Our defence fairness is pretty good baring in mind we have injury problems.. get our first choice back four fit and we will be solid.. I rate Gomes, Harvey has grit but needs consistency, the front line is the issue IMO! Byron is struggling for whatever reason, perhaps fear of injury again? Does Grant Holt fancy a game?

What a load of utter crap - 900k wage bill because he wants to see us go down to cut costs - we would have a load of locals playing if that was the aim and go part time, not sign a 3 year deal at the training facility

The two main contributors to doom and gloom Pedro and a former member of this forum and constantly trying to goad genuine fans, I personally think enough is enough.

What do the mods think about it all, you're quick to issue a warning to me when I have a bit of light hearted banter with the big baby a former member of this forum. At least I will say of Pedro whilst he comes out with some dross he doesn't go telling tales when he gets a slating off people.

Its our football team that is in a bad position at the moment. Hats off to the fans that went and supported and through most of what I have read they gave it their all. Unfortunately a late goal undid all of the hard work.

He may be annoying at times but what he has been saying all along is starting to come true. I think a few fans have shown themselves up here and found themselves frustrated resulting in them looking at one person to take anger out on. I find it odd that all this abuse has seemingly gone unnoticed.

I don't think the argument is whether or not we are in a bit of a mess (on or off the field). That is something you won't find much dispute over. The issue is now we realise that what, at least in the short term, are we as a fanbase doing to play our part in moving onwards. Where are we atm and how are we being most productive? Cos surely that's what its about. The spirit of the fans last night was unreal, all game, as was the spirit on the pitch. That was a partnership in complete unison (players with fans/players and fans appreciating each others efforts). I as a part of the away support last night and the players did their bit last night, so the gripes/snides read on the way home are not welcomed and cause no end of bad feeling. We are in a rut? Mickey Moore must think where does he turn next?! Come Saturday tho, we have another 3 points to go for? How are us fans best approaching that scenario to get to that desired outcome? Get behind the lads fgs!

Anti Christ no just a Owner out of his depth who if wanted with a little more investment last season would have seen us promoted
We can do nothing the fate of the club is in his hands but stripping the club of a number of staff infact more than Southport did when they were relegated is not the answer.

So we will have to see what happens.
But unlike we are going to replace players and the Manager with better he has totally fine the opposite
He clearly is trying to now run it as a business which was not his initial intention.

Expected a real tanking tonight so if those who were there said we played well and didn't deserve the defeat, then i'll go with that. However we really need some confidence in the side from somewhere and i really can't see where it's going to come from with the current management set up.

We have played 13 games prior to last night,ok we haven't performed well in the main but we also haven't been beaten by more than one goal,so why the [SwearFilter] were you expecting a tanking.

Mickey Moore states in the EM that we were the best team on the night. And blames our recent defeats on bad luck - which I take with a pinch of salt. However, after reading your comments maybe he is justified.
