Do they all no longer go because someone put something up on the forum that they didn't know about and thought they should have?

Re: Moore's assistant
To be fair a former member of this forum I think what he is getting at is the way people obviously are in the know about things as you evidently are but then basically go on and laud it over people like saying (granted not in so many words) I know but I'm not going to tell you.
I think we all accept that there will be some that know more about things than others but if you are 'in the know' but not prepared to share what you know then don't mention it in the first place.
Anyway - back on topic. Any more news on MMs assistant?
Spirit can you shed any light??

Re: Moore's assistant
To be fair to a former member of this forum he isn't one of the "I know something but won't tell you" crew. He is open about what he knows and 9 times out of 10 is proven correct with his info. It seems to me it's the one's that aren't in the know who start the petty squabbles because a) they don't have the same inside contacts and/or b) can't stand the fact it's a former member of this forum giving them the info and not the club.
a former member of this forum is a wind up merchant, we all know this. Give him witty and intelligent comebacks and he'll respect you more than if you bite and empower his ego. For me, this forum is a much duller place without him (and much less informative too). If I wanted out of date, and often false, information I would buy the Evening Mail.

Re: Moore's assistant
Yep, i think this is more to the point. Casson promised transparency when in fact we hear very little information coming from the club. That's what annoys me, not the fact that someone has a mate involved with the club who feeds information to them. If the club were proactive in keeping supporters informed, we wouldn't be having this debate.BoltonBlue wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 2:36 pmCan relate to that. Isn't that due to transparency issues originating from elsewhere tho?

Nothing I know of yet mate. Its been included in conversations at the club, & to be honest.....I'm as eager as anyone else to know.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Re: Moore's assistant
I understand the point you are making Mike but you only have to read back over any number of threads and people (sometimes) want to know everything, every scrap that goes on and that simply isn't possible at any club.glasgow_blue wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 2:49 pm Yep, i think this is more to the point. Sometimes "leaked" info can be damaging and that's where we have to be careful.

Re: Moore's assistant
I tend to skim read those type of threads tbh Ian. Agree that some leaks could be damaging but the club doesn’t help itself by poor commuication, it just leads to rumour, gossip and fake news. If the club could improve it's communication it would stop quite a lot of this, although not all of it.spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 3:03 pmI understand the point you are making Mike but you only have to read back over any number of threads and people (sometimes) want to know everything, every scrap that goes on and that simply isn't possible at any club.glasgow_blue wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 2:49 pm Yep, i think this is more to the point. Maybe you should start up Wintergreens old post of the week thing but put your own spin on it, the mods could make it a sticky...(cont pg.94)

In addition to the statements from the owner two or three times per month via the programme, repeated on the website, the info via the NWEM from his son on at least a weekly basis, the chance to ask questions directly at occasional events in the Crossbar, there has been a quantum leap in stuff on social media since early summer - due, at least in part, to the great efforts from Bahamas Bluebird which are appreciated.
