Neill will be in charge tomorrow with Adi in the stand.

On Radio Cumbria he said that Neil will be in charge but Adi said that he himself would be running up and down the touchline (within the technical area of course) shouting and bawling. Sounds good to me - a manager with a bit of enthusiasm and go!

I’ve been a bit anti casson at times but this appointment has made me feel a whole lot mores optimistic. We deserve some luck, PC deserves some loyalty and so now it’s down to us to push it on. I bloody love this club like all of you do, sometimes it’s not all about the footy but the vibe and just being there knowing this is BAFC the biggest club in non league football, history, cups and loyalty, the rest can only hope to catch us up

Im really looking forward to this appointment i loved daz and dave ive been there during edmo and coxy but it was never the same even when we were going places last season im hoping we have the man thats in tune with the fans and we start moving on im not expecting promotion i just want a team giving there all every week.

Happy with that appointment too - let's hope he sticks around for a season or two, the disruption of the Cox exit has knocked the club way back and today is step one in our recovery programme.

Struggling to find the Abba song connection though to be fair, but I am up town this affer and will go through their LPs in Kelly's to see if I can spot the link.

This appointment has grown on me, I wasn't overly enthused when I first heard his name mentioned but now its happened and hearing him speak I'm a bit more excited by it.

What concerns me from the above interview though is this idea that they're going to rent a "3 or 4 bedroom flat" somewhere near training and have all the management team living there together. Pennock apparently has an "understanding" wife, but she's going to have to be more than understanding to put up with that long-term! It can be the greatest marriage in the world but surely living at opposite ends of the country is a bit of an issue. Couple that with the fact that it sounds like his assistant and coaching staff are going to be in the same boat, is that really going to work? 3 or 4 middle-aged men sharing a flat together, miles away from home and their families. Its an odd setup and it does concern me slightly.

He was a coach at Stoke for 6/7 years, and presumably didn't uproot the family from Kent. Loads of blokes of all ages work away all week (BAE contractors etc), so this is unlikely to be an issue at all.
