If you're setting things straight can you explain when you said Arh wasn't happy over the situation during the summer.Thenotorious wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2017 1:45 pm Not hoping to achieve anything. Just wanted to set a few things straight as a lot of what has been said about me on here representing certain players/things i have supposingly done was false.
I find your opinion on agents very black and white and basic.
I have supported the club for 25 years. Conflict of interest? Yes probably. Lesson learnt
Re: Magnificent Seven
Amazing that anyone can pay their money and become a football agent? No formal qualifications required
Then do whatever they feel fit to engineer moves for their clients .. bit like pimping them around ,and take a cut of the fee..or their salary...or whatever is agreed

Re: Magnificent Seven
This was answered earlier. There was a situation that alex wasnt getting paid over the summer - this was an old contract which i had no involvement in. I have only worked with Alex over the last few months.blue nige wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2017 5:44 pmIf you're setting things straight can you explain when you said Arh wasn't happy over the situation during the summer.Thenotorious wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2017 1:45 pm Not hoping to achieve anything. Cant quite believe I'm reading all this. Notorious - if you are what you say you are you really should know that you shouldn't be posting this stuff. Although its not abusive and may be far more interesting than some of the material that appears on a day to day basis, speaking on behalf of a client with whom you have a (legal) relationship on a supporters forum unless you have specific permissions to do so is at best unprofessional and at worst a breach of your obligations to your client - one of which presumably would be confidentiality.Thenotorious wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2017 6:42 pmThis was answered earlier. You say that have supported the club for 25 years and I have no reason to doubt that. But I would suggest that you seriously need to separate your views, opinions and aspirations for the club from your legal and commercial responsibilities to your clients. Again I'm assuming that this whole thread has not developed into a wind-up but other posters need to be careful when posting if any of this "information" is genuine, current and/or legally sensitive.
Am a bit surprised that the moderator has not called time on this thread. Doesn't need to be nasty to be dangerous.

Re: Magnificent Seven
Was he "treated like crap" in summer like his dad said on twitter or was he just not paid as that's what his contract agreement was?Thenotorious wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2017 6:42 pmThis was answered earlier. Re: Magnificent Seven
What's all this leading to?
Agents as Ogden said are more prevalent and can inflict damage on small clubs like we are.
A true fan would not cause change and take his cut on players?
If football is only about how much money you can screw out if it in any capacity then I'm out.

Re: Magnificent Seven
Soul boy
Give the agent a break man
He is a fan but also doing a job for his clients and came on to clear a few untruths out
Lots of crazy things said on forums in heat of moment but I'm sure there are agents who try to help their clients and it appears that The Notorious is one of the good guys
As for the fact why would footballers need an agent
To help them navigate through the murky world that is professional football .....that's why

Re: Magnificent Seven
The guys gone now can't we just draw a line under it - end of day don't sign a contract if you don't like it quite simple really.
If players want to leave let them go.
And if Paul Cox is unsettling some of our players and tapping them up he might find the good will and kind regards shown to him dry up

Agree with that Bingo but just feel JT has had a rough ride on here and want to say he was only trying to do the best for his client

Re: Magnificent Seven
As for Paul Cox tapping up
Goes on all the time
It's up to the players to decide if they want to be with Barrow
If they put in a transfer request then in my opinion that's it finished
Should never play for club again unless they withdraw same request
