People have said until fixed they won't be getting any raffle tickets as don't know winning numbers and don't have computers. They are entitled to have their opinions aired as well as the regular contributors to this site.

I wonder how the sponsors feel about part of the ground not being able to hear their plugs? I'm pretty certain that part of their sponsorship is announcements over the pa system

I remember them raffling off a PlayStation 1 in a pre season friendly about four seasons back.

Could do with a good old fashioned meat raffle. That would get my attention.

You could donate a sausage back to the club.

It is, but don’t know at which level league it kicks in. In some clubs you could get somebody with a loud voice to shout and everyone would hear them!
I'm pretty sure it's a requirement of the safety certificate

Many moons ago I'm sure the late, great Derek White avoided a game being called off by rigging up his own amp to replace one that died.

A good lad was Dak. Grew up a few streets away from him and often played Football with him and against him on the Public Park. A fellow local musician too. Once rehearsed in a band with him and a female singer - never got to performing live with him, however, as the band disintegrated...
I would sometimes bump into him on the streets of Barrow and we'd chat for literally hours about Barrow AFC, Wolves and Music. I miss those chats. RIP Dak.
