Liam Hughes
Re: Liam Hughes
The fool. Why would anyone choose to play for a lesser club and a lesser manager?

Re: Liam Hughes
Perhaps like ARH he has seen the future of midfield magic at AFC and its name is Bradley Bauress.
We will follow the soccer, over land and sea...
Re: Liam Hughes
A couple of good games at centre back didn't make up for some woeful performances on the wing. Not good enough for us, enjoy Guiseley Liam
Just say no to VAR
Re: Liam Hughes
if he'd been played as a central midfielder as he was at Cambridge then we could have seen him perform better? Still he was a key part of the unbeaten run. Good luck to you.

Re: Liam Hughes
So he's resigned for the manager who plays him out of position. Not mobile enough at this level for me.
Re: Liam Hughes
Yes that's correct. I agree.Jo am back wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2017 7:27 pmSo he's resigned for the manager who plays him out of position. Not mobile enough at this level for me.

Re: Liam Hughes
A bit of football ability, but not a lot.
Woeful natural fitness. He’s slow and has poor stamina. For a professional footballer, he’s just a lump.
Cox will play him on the wing to nod on headers from throw ins.
Questionable attitude.
I’m really not bothered he’s gone apart from the diminishing size of the squad. Dunne and Clement will be gone in January I think.

Re: Liam Hughes
Considering ady has been here a few weeks and no signing other than grant I think that says a lot about him.
He is clever and will know what he needs and Hughes wasn't part of this.
We now are a footballing club and yes maybe cox could have won promotion with his narrow tactics....that work sometimes....most fans will prefer a traditional barrow AFC style of football with wide men and goals.
Ady and grant represent the best management team we've had in a long time. Ady will have strong players lined up. No need to panic.
Get behind our club on Saturday

Re: Liam Hughes
We need a period of sustainment and growth with this management team....let them get on with matters on the pitch and the owners matters off it!

Re: Liam Hughes
I'm sure we will sign 3 players in January and have a big playoff push. Maybe White will also move on?
If we get a TOP midfielder to partner Gomis, sign a TOP winger, get Neiskins fit, get our 2 full backs / wingbacks back fit, keep all strikers fit happy and rotated, keep injuries and suspensions to a minimum then I think we have a chance!! not a lot to ask

Re: Liam Hughes
Too fat . I know he had his problems but we need 100% fit players . To pay £15 to watch someone who isn't fit doesn't help get the gate up
(Gomis for example nobody would ever feel short changed from this guy 100% effort
