Re: Barrow v Solihull match thread
Head against wall time but we need two wingers and a midfield general. [SwearFilter] awful result that
Re: Barrow v Solihull match thread
I noticed Harrison in Tesco Barrow on Thursday, along with another player. So it would seem they are being looked after by the club. Staying Christmas period and using training facility next to ground. I feel sorry for the Cassons, they get plenty of stick but all this stopping over and preparation won't be cheap. The buck stops with Pennock and he should be figuring out why we are pants at home yet on form away. Also why Harrison is utter dross as well etc.tictactoe wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2017 8:01 pm Harrison - I remember listening to you in Chester station mocking the shit clubs in this league and how barrow need to get out of this league - rightly so I gave you my opinion that day and from them on you went right down in my estimation - I’m still waiting to be proved wrong about his ability - not interested and doesn’t deserve to be in the starting 11.
That said whole team was bad today and if they can’t put in a performance against Solihull there’s something wrong
Debating now whether to bother going to Wrexham on Monday but I’d like to see this great away team that seems to turn up

Read somewhere they were showing Les how to wash the kit !!!! PerhPs they'd like to show that shower of shit how to play football !!
If they put as much pride into the club as he does then at least we'll go down fighting !

Re: Barrow v Solihull match thread
Feel sorry for director Jamie Reid I do.
Win lose draw he comes in bar to do MOM whilst the rest don't show thier faces.
Hour after game today no sign of anyone but Jamie.
All don't seem to mind coming in when we win.

Harrison is rightly getting stick for his performance today - he was shit but there is no way I'd have taken him off. Holt/White were no better and looked like they were blowing out of their arses, out of them three only Harrison seemed to have the legs for the rest of the game. I'd have brought Yussef on for one of them two. It was obvious whatever system was being played wasn't working so why make a like for like swap upfront?

Re: Barrow v Solihull match thread
Worst performance of the season. I hope some of those players have been told after today "Thanks but go now. And I hope we get some enforcers in on that pitch.
Re: Barrow v Solihull match thread
Agree. There was not enough quality service coming in to the strikers today. Harrison and Bennett scored a bagful each last season because we had players who could get the ball into the box from the final third. You can mix and match any of our strikers but that is not the problem area. We lack pace and width.Freya wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2017 9:12 pm Harrison is rightly getting stick for his performance today - he was shit but there is no way I'd have taken him off. I said exactly the same when he was subbed because even when he's bad he's still way better than the rest!Freya wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2017 9:12 pm Harrison is rightly getting stick for his performance today - he was shit but there is no way I'd have taken him off. Does anyone know what Hall said to the media ?in a way it's fitting he went because he spent most of the game watching the opposition!

Ide have sent Harrison and bartram out to do interviews
Re: Barrow v Solihull match thread
Harrison definitely has the class...but last few games im afraid he doesn't seem to have the inclination. body language has been poor. so obvious seeing it from the terrace. Maybe fed up of not having enough quality around him like last season. no smiles on Byrons face this season. Having said that, its no excuse for sulking. Man up! Can still be our hero.

Re: Barrow v Solihull match thread
Home form = Haven't got the strength of character to play at Holker St it seems to me. why ? God knows? Should seem like another away game really for our lads living /training away. Maybe thats the problem? Scares em a bit playing HS.

Re: Barrow v Solihull match thread
Very poor effort against poor opposition.
We have a small squad of generally poor players (most brought in by Cox).
Pennock has the responsibility to get them to perform, but certainly not happening at home.
We get muscled off the ball too much, the individual skill level is poor and some players don’t seem to be trying.
Such a shame to say Harrison doesn't seem to be up for it when the chips are down.
