Half decent that, all threw themselves into tackles and played with a bit of fight....hopefully words have been said behind the scenes and this was the result.

Great shot by Jones and very unlucky, thought Moussa & MacDonald did well but James was MOTM by a mile, never stopped running and chasing all night.

Fingers crossed we’ve turned a corner now. A win on Saturday (or at the least an improved performance on recent games) and a decent night weather-wise and that should see a few more on the gate....which was disappointing even with the poor run we've been on.

Tired.Harrison still sadly looks disinterested.Point should hopefully help team confidence and performance better than many home games I have seen this season.Crowd I think reflects a)our appalling home form of late b) recent cold weather some people preferred warm fire and footie on box.Hopefully this is turning point and improved performance results in attendance increase next home game.Saw about ten Sutton fans standing and a few in stand long way for them to come midweek so didn’t expect too many.Feel a bit more positive but long way to go.

Going back to the start of January 2017 we’ve won 7 out of 27 home league games. Very poor form. Bound to put some fans off.

Definitely James man of the match for me, pace was electric all night and looking forward to seeing more of this lad... unexpectedly warm night and a good game to watch...lots of positives

That was a team that was fighting for each other tonight. I never thought for a second that we seemed tired because the effort was always there.
I think the looks of confusion and muted sighs when Diarra got MOM were all along the Popular Side at least. it was Gomis all day long for me and those I was stood with. He was everywhere.

James or MacDonald MOTM for me tonight, the former was troubling them all night with his pace and getting in behind, whilst MacDonald stopped their counter attacks all throughout the second half and defended very well overall.

It was a good performance from a team who fought from start to finish. The losers were the keyboard warriors who stayed away. I know people have sift work and other reasons. James mom for me.

There's a difference between looking tired in a lethargic way, and looking tired because they've worked their socks off - some of the players gave their all, which was heartening, and if it wasn't for the desperate need for a win, 1-1 against Sutton would be a very good result.

James and Gomis were the stand-outs for me - Hall played really well to make it our best midfield performance that I can think of so far this season. Defence opened up for the equaliser, but we outplayed them in every single department.

Hopefully we can build on this now. Full credit to the whole team, they’ve responded in the right way and shown that they are indeed up for the battle.

Not ready to forgive Gomis for Torquay and he hads been a liability recently but he did play well. I thought Mcdonald was excellent.

I still don't get why they are where they are. I didn't think they were much good down there (we went to sleep for a quarter of an hour) and tonight only confirmed it. It was utter larceny they got a point (though fair play the goal was well worked)

If we put the effort in, it's always good enough for me, and we did.

On another night we would have taken three points with a bit of luck, but it wasn't to be. A much improved performance from saturday (that wouldn't be difficult),but we need to do this on a regular basis.
I think we have enough to stay in this division but players need to be brought in to strengthen. On the evidence of tonights crowd complete with 13 visiting there might not be money available. A Doctor picked MOM but I think he needs to see one,or an optician. Take your pick from Gomis,MacDonald or James. I have to say I am not a Holt fan, I don't know what he brings to the table.
Saturday will be interesting as Maidstone are desperate at the moment.

As everyone has said a good performance by us and an entertaining match. Thought we played some good football at times. They created a good goal rather than us making a mistake. James was impressive and showed good pace, a thorn in their side all night. MOTM Bedsente for me thought he was brilliant. I was a much happier chap going home tonight than I have been for a while
