If We Go Down
I am not and don’t think we should throw the towel in yet but if we go down will Andy Pennock stay and rebuild a team of his own or is it in his contract that he can go if relegated.
Same with any players that have got a contract for next year.
Does anybody know?

Re: If We Go Down
Can’t think of a single player I’d be gutted we never kept in all honesty. Maybe Moussa or Gomis but even they ain’t moved mountains lately. As for AP he won’t hang around, why would he, the ship is sinking so fast the only people left will be us 800 fools who have be robbed consistently all season but will be there week in week out in the hope we might get rewarded only to be fooled time and time again. Casson will walk as well I’d imagine, his money has well and truely dried up and he’s bitten off far to much than he can chew.

If we go down I can see holt taking over. casson won't walk away but it will just be a blip in the plans to get us to the football league. If we do go down I just hope 1 thing: we clear out the dross we have at the club and start again with players who will give their all.

Re: If We Go Down
There is no plan to get to the football league. A plan to get to the football league would involve a new ground and staff who actually know how to run a football club

Re: If We Go Down
Moussa won't be here next season through his own choice.
Off the top of my head I'd like to keep hold of both James', Gomes, Waterston, Jones. The rest I'm really not arsed about.

Re: If We Go Down
Nothing positive will happen with us going down. The league below is competitive and there are some decent teams with better set ups then us competing for 2 promotion places. We'll be left with the same wrong people running the club making the same wrong decisions and nothing will change until they eventually pull out. The crowds will drop further and it will take us a good few years to build to get out of that league. Utter shambles

Correct, the north is a much stronger league than it was last time we were in it...Tommylad wrote: ↑Tue Apr 03, 2018 11:01 pm Nothing positive will happen with us going down. Re: If We Go Down
If we do survive this season, massive changes will have to be made close season or else we will be odds on to be relegated the following year.

Not much effort being put onto into strenghing the squad and keeping us upMiddleton Nick wrote: ↑Tue Apr 03, 2018 11:27 pm If we do survive this season, massive changes will have to be made close season or else we will be odds on to be relegated the following year.
Not sure about Pennock ,both Hornby and Moore stated the team needed strengthing, and Pennock was going going to bring in players. but it never happened.
At least the team are fighting even if it's with each other
Yep we perform better against the higher teams just cannot beat them.

This. Wasnt there last night as am heading off but all we can do now is get behind this mainly undeserving shower till the bitter end. I think we will get enough away to stay up.barrowfan_chris wrote: ↑Tue Apr 03, 2018 11:06 pm The club is a mess relegation would be a [SwearFilter] disaster.
