Steve Patton
Steve Patton
I've heard that Steve Patton has now left the club. Anyone know anything about this?

Re: Steve Patton
Yes he retired and is now a life member as Paul Casson put in his programme notes

Re: Steve Patton
I don't know Mr Patton. However; it seems he could just be another casualty of Paul Casson's reign.
It all started with Sean Reilly. How many have gone now?

Would be very surprised if Steve Patton just retired just out of the blue!! He always came across as the sort that would see something through until the bitter end, although I'm sure that will be the political stance though!!
Players always seemed to have a good rapport with him. A long time servant of the club, I'm sure his knowledge and commitment will be a big miss.
Sounds more like another put out to pasture.

Probably in the Gulag Archipelago ,Putin would be proud of the Management Style used to rundown the clubMcMark wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 4:03 pm Would be very surprised if Steve Patton just retired just out of the blue!! I am waiting for the end of the season and a statement being issued by the Great Leader saying he is not appreciated and he is scaling down further.
The silence is deafening !!!
Re: Steve Patton
I have heard a differing story that he has not retired but infact has become as some have said "a casualty" of PC regime
Re: Steve Patton
So the answer to your opening post was provided from the programme notes yet you and subsequent posters won’t have it. It’s not sinister enough. Why post the question then if you have already made your mind up as to what has happened.

Re: Steve Patton
Jonty I agreed I have only heard although it is from a very good source. That said you read it in cassons programme notes and of course everything that comes from his mouth is correct...Jonty wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 7:26 pmSo the answer to your opening post was provided from the programme notes yet you and subsequent posters won’t have it.
