play offs

Post by sambino » Mon Apr 30, 2018 9:18 am

Interesting looking at the Conference North and South playoffs bwith Harrogate, Brackley Kiddiminster Stockport County, Chorley and Bradford Pa in the north mix we could well see some easier away fixtures to get to with Salford already up.
From the south could be a long trip if Truro come up !

I'd like to see Chorley come up, and Morecambe to come down. Have monitored Chorley's results since our meeting in the North in the title winning season, got a bit of a soft spot for them.

Hope it's not Brackley (too far) or Bradford (soulless ground) or Harrogate (usually struggle against them).

There are worse grounds than Bradford's. And at least you can go for a decent curry !

I don't think there is to be fair, certainly not in our league.

As bad as Gateshead is for watching football, there's no way its worse than BPA.

There was talk of BPA playing elsewhere next season, Odsal stedium being one option. But they are staying at the Horsfall;

Chorley would be my prefered option from the north, don't think it really matters from the south.

+1 for Truro

It'd be nice to see a Cornish side in the National League.
Whilst living in Plymouth I attended a couple of friendlies watching 'The Argyle' take on Truro City.
A weekend in Cornwall can't be beaten!

There was Captain Dan and Billy Bones and me...

I was thinking that if Truro stay down they will actually have a 'local' derby next year with Turkey being only 100 miles away
