Could be a proof copy perhaps.

Re: Commercial Team
Have been told that this is the printed version that has already been given to some sponsors!
Proof read, and read again and again!! Basics of marketing which a person who owns their own marketing company should know

Putting .Fact on the end of sentence makes its factually correct.Fact.
I don't know what mistakes are in there, i cant be arsed reading it.
Unless its wrong pricing ,which i assume it isn't, i can't see a few spelling mistakes putting people off putting money in.

Re: Commercial Team
I agree with you to a point but some might say it shows a lack of professionalism.
In time gone by the printers would proof-read and make corrections, but sadly those days seem to have gone.

Re: Commercial Team
Many such documents are now produced in-house on office computers and it is a well known fact that:-
(1) Read the document on screen and it is word perfect.
(2) Print off a single copy and read it; it too will be word perfect.
(3) Print (or have printed) the required number of copies and a host of errors will be bleedin' obvious.
At least that was the case in documents I produced at work, and I'm sure all those errors only manifested themselves between stages (2) and (3). That's probably what has happened to the document in question.

Sorry to hear that but it's completely illogical!Steelworks End wrote: ↑Mon May 28, 2018 11:28 am Many such documents are now produced in-house on office computers and it is a well known fact that:-

Never stopped our company taking out sponsorship.
Re: Commercial Team
It depends what you’re looking for from your sponsorship. As a small business owner I would want promotion and advertising as part of my marketing strategy and to protect my company name and brand I would want the reassurance that everything was correct from a spelling and grammatical point of view. This brochure doesn’t fill me with confidence that this would happen.Tony wrote: ↑Mon May 28, 2018 4:10 pm+1Lowtower wrote: ↑Mon May 28, 2018 9:46 am

If you’re just looking to sponsor from a community/support point of view then maybe those things aren’t as important to you.
I just think it’s a shame as it looks very good from a design point of view and these errors just look unprofessional in my opinion.

Re: Commercial Team
So are you and your small business going to sponsor something? Maybe when you hand your money over make them aware then the mistake won’t happen againCillablue wrote: ↑Mon May 28, 2018 4:24 pmIt depends what you’re looking for from your sponsorship. Re: Commercial Team
It was for a small business, but as you get your own banners and boards printed it invalidates your point.Cillablue wrote: ↑Mon May 28, 2018 4:24 pmIt depends what you’re looking for from your sponsorship. Re: Commercial Team
It doesn’t invalidate my point if the package includes social media promotion etc
Unfortunately my marketing plan for this financial year has already been fulfilled and football sponsorship doesn’t form part of it.
