I'll probably get shouted down for been negative, however i am amazed at the optimism following two friendlies, quotes such as "this is the best signing so far" look at his pedigree, he couldn't even get in a relegated guiseley side last season! Yes of course i hope we do well but talk of the play offs etc after two friendlies are ridiculous, are signinigs are still very much made up of players who were not good enough previously for this level

2 friendlies played against 2 football league teams. 2 excellent performances from a group of players that have been together for 10 Days. Some excellent football played too. Now if this is a sign to come then bring it on. We looked a league above Carlisle and a lot fitter too. They couldn't get the ball of us. Yesterday a bit different. Crewe were better organised and a lot fitter than Carlisle.
A tougher game. I think Ian Evatt has made some good signings. Will we win the league.....NO. but I like the way he wants football played. We have already seen more football at HS than last season. Can we win more than 4 home games......Definitely. ...

Good to have a realistic review.
Last season we only lost one friendly out of eight and look where we finished.
Its about getting fitness.
I think the new Manager will want to make his first appointment successful and make it a stepping stone to bigger things.
I hope we do get to the play offs but what then?
The ground would not meet EFL standards and Paul Casson has already began cutting budgets,so what makes people think Football League is his aim?
The trend of players who have recently been to Guisley and York and now Barrow is a concern.
Looking forward to the first game which will show us where we really are.
