I hope its not just me that's buzzing for Saturday and the coming season.

I've been to a few pre-season games and it looks like we want to do the right things and play the football we all want.

Same here. I almost lost the will to live last season but the pre-season friendlies seem to have sown the seeds of recovery.
Just to see every player give of their best and care will be an improvement----you can't ask for more than that.

Been to 3 pre-season. Very impressed all round. May take time to weed in but things are GTG. A flying start v H & W will do nicely. I shall be there..same place as for the last umpteen seasons.

Must admit I will be somewhat disorientated if I don't see Nick's titfer heading south on the 11th August.
Looking forward to our season starting, although more nervous energy than excitement at this stage though!

Looking forward to the season starting,unfortunately wont be a first game due to work commitments,the great coverage on RC will certainly help.We must be weary of H &W though they have beaten the likes of Wycombe and Wimbledon pre season. Get 3 points Saturday then I’ll be at Halifax Tuesday.

Was a bit worried early close season but little bit more optimistic now - new team new manager lets give them a chance - don’t think we will be top half but just hope it’s not another relegation contest come end of season.

Hoping to do a few more away this season.

As ever, ready for this and listening to the new manager and from the couple of games Ive seen I'm optimistic that this team will do a lot better than last season.
Ive seen the best and worst of it over the last near on 30 years and as always want a squad of players who will step up and not shy away from the challenges we face and give it all for the shirt. Do that and they'll get the backing of the fans.
Things happening off the pitch close season comes across as the club are upping the efforts and listening to fans. The open door training session on Friday is a great start to hopefully a stronger bond between club and fans who are absolutely passionate about this club but feeling downhearted after false dawns. We all know that something is needed from the new manager to make it all click and i really hope he is a success here bringing the feel good factor back and looking forward to every game. Lets hope they do themselves and the fans proud and we have a great season ahead. Up the Ziggers!
