They were hard to watch, camera work nowhere near up to its usual standard. What happened?
They are the ones matt just sends for the pitchero website, he doesnt edit the footage as much as he does for the official club highlights
The wrong footage was also sent by the looks of it, that film is from the second camera which follows the ball for replays etc. Official highlights will be up tomorrow when the league embargo is lifted. :scarf:

Wilson looked solid and organised and Blythe will be fit soon....

On the H&W Twitter Defender Jordan Rose number 17 said there were the better footballing side in both halves of the game, and even there manager didn`t give us much credit, must have been at a different game.

If they genuinely believe they were the better team, they are gonna get a nasty surprise this season.

TOP OF THE LEAGUE
I don’t care if it is alphabety spaghetti difference, we ARE top of the league
No, as pointed out previously, top of the league on goal difference, which barring every other match on opening day being a draw, is as good as it can get at this stage.

3rd v 1st on Tuesday. C'mon BT Sports, you could have anticipated that one!
In fairness to myself, I posted before gateshead conceded a late goal, so factually correct at the time ;)

Good day, nice positive atmosphere and lots of kids etc in the sunshine.

Didn't manage to watch all the game but I did speak about Taylor with Ian Evatt a week or so ago. He is there to anchor the midfield and protect the centre halves, sounds like he did that quite well. It's the rest are expected to run and run, that's not his game.

Hindle really looks rather good and I like the full backs- nice and aggressive.

Was Rose the one with the ridiculous haircut? If so he put in one of the worst displays I have seen against us in years - total non-footballer so his opinion is worth jack.

Rose was the big black guy who was constantly complaining to the referee and tried to get josh kay sent off!

He was very lucky to not get sent off, he had their player by the throat - a stupid reaction, even if provoked.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

As was one of their players towards the end who had his hand on Brown's throat with the ref there and Granite quickly stepped in and it was sorted.
