It’s been a long time since I can remember so many people staying behind after at the final whistle to give the lads a standing ovation off the pitch, the only real shame is we are not at home this Saturday, could have seen a near 2000 crowd with that result fresh in the mind (albeit the game turned again massively on their red card)
Andy Firth was superb again, he’s making a habit of making crucial saves then us going up the other end and scoring. Josh Granite is a proper captain, you can tell he is just loving having been given the chance to play at this level. Hopefully Sheff Utd will let us keep Smith all season, he is the proper goal poacher we have been looking for for years
Whether this style of football will produce the same results on a ploughed field in the middle of December will be seen but at the moment it’s great to watch
