Football appears to have broken out. We should cherish it, hold it close and tell friends to come and see. I must confess I never expected Barrow to play this way and the last 20 years living here have borne it out, much as I love the club and the fans. We taught them a lesson. It wasn't like the usual Barrow bllod and guts overhauling of a bigger side, it was football. I am quite discombobulated. On to Maidstone.

I hope the club are ready to grasp this opportunity to sell and promote the club. Interest and feel good factor is high, NOW is the time to promote rather than wait until a dip in form or few bad results.

Woke up this morn still pinching myself and thinking it was a dream as the dross from last year was awful, now it's like it never happened and fair play to club for doing this, massive fan of josh granite playoffs a huge poss for me

I honestly cannot remember the last time I felt so entertained watching s match at HS, some decent wins in the last few years but as for being entertained for 90 minutes (well, we had much longer really) that was outstanding.
The way I E has them patiently building & looking for the right opening is a joy to watch. There were at least two spells last night when Chesterfield looked like the were chasing shadows...the passing was worthy of any team in this league.
When you look at what we’re doing here on a reduced budget compared to what we had a year ago....
Also really happy for Paul Casson that gates seem to be improving and he’s getting the football he wanted to see.

Wonder if there's a touch of sour grapes there! The commentary team are there to commentate on Barrow - yes they should be objective but they are supporters of Barrow not Chesterfield!

Very very sour grapes. Chesterfiield are in this League for a reason and no one is gonna lie down just because its them. They are a huge side but put the ball on the ground and well....we murdered them at ti=mes

I was listening and I thought they were very objective. In fact, those 2 are always objective much to the annoyance of some people but not to me.

Even when listening on the radio, you can get a feel for the way a team is playing. Last season I almost expected to hear the opposition to score in the last few minutes of any game and it happened on a regular basis. We always seemed to be under pressure. Already this season it doesn't feel the same. We seem to be able to attack and not be penned in constantly. From everything I've heard and read Barrow seem to have got some gems in Firth, Granite, Hindle and Jameson and probably others as well. Being based in the South, I don't get to see many games. What I saw last season was very poor fair and even when we were doing well with Paul Cox the football wasn't of the style that I enjoy. From what I've read on here and listened to on the radio this manager seems to have got the team trying to pass the ball and play decent football and the highlights I've seen tell me exactly the same. Long may it continue.
