After a string of impressive performances as captain of our U21 side, midfielder Christian Sloan has signed first team forms!

He joins the squad for our trip to Kent today, ahead of tomorrow’s game at Ebbsfleet.

He’s a really nice lad and has been getting some great compliments regarding his football, really pleased for him. Unfortunately he scored last week and he told me he only gets one per season so that’s him done....!

Good to see locals getting a shot. Huge step up from the West Lancashire league and our u21s league but good luck to him.

I just hope that it’s a signing based on readiness for this league and not just to please and pretend our performance centre works.
