Another really good turnout at the ground today, people cleaning up after yesterday, bit of work still going on in the bottle/can/pie bar and the mass clearout of the Chairmans room (the third corporate room) was started.
This will have a similar make-over to the Legends room. New spot lights have already been fitted (all the electrical gear was very kindly donated...saving us a small fortune, so thank you to that gentleman) it’ll also have a lick of paint to freshen it up then pictures etc hung to finish it off.
It was really good to hear all the positive comments about the Legends room yesterday, I’m sure it means a lot to the people who have put the hours and effort in.

I saw that Al, not wanting to get too close to the leaking liquid was it water or something worse?
If it’s not water it needs looking at immediately as it’s flooding onto the corner of the pitch.

It's [SwearFilter] and it stinks and has been leaking all season. I. Pointed it out to Andrew Casson on first day of season when the tent (RIP) was next to it.

This is a serious problem which needs sorting ASAP, and not with a temporary fix. You probably have around 400-500 people in that stand and a toilet which is an absolute disgrace, and probably doesn’t meet health and safety requirements. It’s no doubt one of the reasons that some people stay away.

With all due respect to the Sunday morning Maintenance gang it’s really something that the club should be addressing as a matter of urgency.
