Note that parking on the Popular Side will now incur a small £2 charge

For that price I hope it means that someone is permanently stationed at the gate, and that someone is someone with a [SwearFilter] key.

I know an old couple who sit in the stand and one cannot walk far so always park there, hope this doesn’t scare them off so the club don’t lose 30 quid a game.

It's about time really.
Stood behind Ray Wilkie for years. Best education I ever had.

£2 is not a lot and would hope that fans who park here understand why the club has to start charging.

All good things come to an end! Same price as paying on the soccer bar.
Think it would be good if they offered a prepay scheme so that some of the less abled supporters can park up without problem as long as they arrive before a predetermined time.

I wonder if there’s an option for those less mobile to book a place on the inside car park? Would seem like an ideal place really.

Regarding price - it’s £2.... the club have to start pulling money in from all possible areas, this would seem an obvious starting place really.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Great idea, loads cheaper than other clubs who charge for parking but will at least get a few quid in for us

I dont think you can do this because we tried to do this some time ago and because the repair shop has joint access how do you separate customers from there.

The repair shop own their business building and have shared access to the entrance to it. Everything after their lot is Barrow AFC property.

EDIT: Also they are closed on Saturdays and evenings so why does it matter?

People harp on about how the club need money etc, the minute they actively do something to try and create a revenue stream people start making excuses not to pay it.

Most clubs charge for parking at the ground now a days, some a lot more than £2 as well. I don’t see what rhe problem is
