My deepest condolences to Jean Mark and Lee for your loss, really hard to put into words what Brian Arrowsmith was to Barrow AFC,many who post on this forum will not know what he did for his home town club, tonight is a very sad time for us older fans. God bless Brian and love to Jean and the boy's.

Such sad news. Truly one of greatest players to ever wear the shirt. RIP Brian. For as long as my brain continues to function you'll always remain part of those great memories of my youth.

Condolences to Jean and family. A player who never walked away from the club but carried on supporting it long after his glorious playing days were over.
A fitting testimony for a humble man that he never understood how much he meant to the fans and the wonderful memories he left us with.
Thank you Brian. R.I.P.

What a real shame

A true great in many ways; a superb player and captain on the field; friendly, down to earth and so modest off it

Rest in Peace Brian
