My mate Ian. Well lets see if he is right.

He uses the term null and void as if its a default position. As if the failure of this vote means that clubs have to void the season. In actual fact the clubs would have to vote for null and void just like they'd have to vote for any other solution. What on earth makes Ian Dennis think that there would be a majority for that either? Or perhaps he doesn't really think this and it is just something controversial to tweet.

Those thinking about null and void would have to seriously consider the ramifications of such a decision on the future relationship between the NL and the EFL. I dont see how the EFL would not exact punishment on the NL's future promotion prospects whilst at the same time taking at least one or (if Macclesfield are expelled) two of its clubs to balance its numbers. In one sense null and void would be the fairest outcome at this stage because just about everybody would lose.
