EFL football can not be broadcast online - has to go behind a pay wall either via iFollow or clubs own subscription page if they don’t use iFollow

Ahhh, in that case, hmmm, I dunno. Does digital / smart just pick up the FM coverage?

I don’t know how it will work fully but I’d imagine it will be Carlisle FM - Barrow DAB(digital radio) and Workington/Kendal online

Adam just a question but is Radio Cumbria on broadcast on more than one FM frequency?

Would they look into doing split service on each frequency like Radio Lancashire have done for years with all their League teams? IE Blackburn on one, Morecambe on the frequency used in North Lancs, Blackpool on that area's frequency etc? There arent enough to go round in Lancs if all the teams are playing at the same time, but I presume the Carlisle and Barrow areas are served by different frequencies which might make it possible? Not sure if there would be a cost implication for BBC RC either in looking into this but its a proven solution to the problem.

Gone are the days when drunk as a 18 year old I used to buy the pink to get a report on the Barrow away match.
Used to be a old guy hiding in the crack by Duke Of Edinburgh selling it till about 11pm no matter what the weather

The discussion is just about what the situation regarding coverage might be IF we are promoted and seeking and suggesting alternatives IF the status quo were to remain in terms of Carlisle getting the priority for FM coverage.

Tuesday night away games when you had to wait until the morning paper arrived to find out the score.......... We are blessed to have the Radio coverage we have and have had for many years now.
